Secure way to add funds to your Nintendo account. Instead of using a credit card, used the Nintendo prepaid card!

I bought this only to go home and find out that it didnt work. I called nintendos customer service and they where very helpful but they couldnt fix it because the cashier never activated it. Best buy customer service was terrible and couldn't help me at all. I had to go all the way back to the store. If you buy this or any other gift card make sure they activate it!

The card said $20, I gave the cashier $20, and then I went home and got $20 worth of stuff for the WiiU. Amazing.

Do you know someone with a current generation of Nintendo console, be it the WiiU or the 3DS? Do you want to get them a small gift to make their day? Or are you that gamer and you just don't trust any online method of credit card usage? Well, the $10 Nintendo eShop is a great gift for any of those reasons. And $10 is enough for a game or two on the eShop, given the classics that are released on there via the Virtual Console and other sales that come up. You can't go wrong with a gift card!

Having a prepaid card eliminates the concern of loosing your credit card over the internet. This way is safe.

This card is pretty straight forward. You buy it, enter a code into your 3DS or Wii U, and get digital funds added to your online account. This virtual currency can be used to buy all sorts of digital items in the Nintendo e-shop. There are all kinds of games and apps for sale. Everything from ports of old NES classics to digital versions of current modern games. It's a pretty good selection and this card gives you the option to avoid having to use a credit card.

$20 E Shop card is a good value to buy digital games. It has enough value to buy decent number of small cost games.

This is an easy way to add money to your eshop account, but be advised that WiiU and 3DS accounts are separate.

When it comes to video game consoles, prepaid cards such as these are often the way to go. They allow one to avoid attaching a credit or debit card to a potentially insecure store, such as was the case with Sony's PlayStation Network. The $35 value works out in giving a midway point to the lesser value cards, while also not necessarily committing to a full $50 price point. With the wide range of prices on digital game purchases, the additional flexibility is greatly appreciated.

I prefer not to use my credit card for online purchasing whenever possible (let alone store my credit card information online), so these Nintendo eShop cards are safe and convenient to use! I buy them at Best Buy and load the card onto my online Nintendo card and purchase games and DLC content with ease! Best Buy offers the various card amounts available, so you can pick up any amount to meet your budget. These cards are perfect for gifts, as well!

If you buy games on the eShop these are great as they directly add to your "wallet" the same amount adding $35 from your credit card would, the only issue is if you buy a game for 29.99 and tax and have that odd dollar and change in your wallet you can't do anything with... but it still comes off the next game. I bought it at a deal of the day for 7 off and a game for Wii-U when THAT was on sale on eShop so I've made $35 go pretty far. My advice for anyone considering this!
