Easy fund purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The eShop cards can be used on Wii U or 3DS. There are a good amount of games on virtual console worth playing.

It's what you expect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not sure why this is needed but it's exactly what you expect from a prepaid card. Will likely buy again.

Great way to transfer your money to Nintendo
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At Best Buy these cards are always tax-free! An easy way to transfer $10.00 to Nintendo! You just give your $10.00 bill to Best Buy and you get this Card. Then when you get home you just scratch off the part on the back and then access the eshop on your 3DS or Wii U and you enter the code that was under the scratched off part on the back... and then you have $10 funds to spend in the Nintendo eshop! It is so easy and convenient!! :D

Works for 3DS, WiiU, and Switch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not much to say, this is a convenient way to add funds to your account to purchase games/dlc within the Nintendo e-Shop. It's worth noting that even though the packaging does not explicitly state it, funds from these cards also work with the Nintendo Switch. The Mario 3DS AR card is a nice bonus. You do need to download a different (free) app from the eShop to use this rather than the built-in AR reader on the 3DS.

Is what is. Got it on sale
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a $50 eShop card. Not much more to say than that. Best Buy has had them 20% twice now and that's a great deal, and how I picked up this one. I recommend looking for more sales like that in the future. The card is easy to use in the eShop. If you have both a 3DS and Wii U then you have the same eShop account across both systems, so you have access to any credit on your account from both systems. This makes it very useful and there are no drawbacks there.

It's a gift card
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's like money, but only usable with Nintendo. Great as a gift, sort of pointless for just yourself.

The best way to fund your eShop purchases
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It seems like every week a company is being hacked and customers' credit card data is put at risk. I'm sure Nintendo has taken all the right precautions but even the best security can be compromised. That's why I recommend that consumers remove their Credit Card data from their game consoles and use prepaid cards such as these to make purchases. The Nintendo eShop cards were also recently discounted at Best Buy, making this an even more attractive proposition.

$35 is $35
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a $35 card that you can use on Nintendo eShop. You can redeem it using the eShop on 3DS or Wii U, and use the fund to buy things like DLC and digital games. Personally, I spent this on Fire Emblem Fates DLCs. My advice is to redeem it as soon as possible because someone might take your card using random generating programs. Keep in mind, however, that the maximum amount of fund that you can have at any time is $200.

Exactly what it is described as
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is exactly as it is described. An eshop prepaid card for those times that you don't want to store your credit card info on whichever device you are adding funds to. Just be careful when scratching as some people have actually damaged the card and had trouble reading the code underneath. Also make sure you read the information on the card since it can help you if you can't read the code or if it tells you that you entered the wrong/invalid code.

Never bad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These cards are extra handy to have around. They work just the same as adding money to your account with a credit card, but you can receive them from others as a gift. My wife and I spent a ton of money on these on Black Friday. Additionally, Best Buy will occasionally put these things on sale, meaning you can buy money for less than it costs. Since we both plan on spending the Nintendo points, it was only a gain in our book.

Best Way to Purchase eShop Cards
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're enrolled in the My Best Buy Rewards Program and even better is a part of the Gamer's Unlocked Club, this is by far the best way to purchase items in the eShop (besides when they're rarely on sale). If you're enrolled in both, you can simply buy these cards which aren't taxed and gain points for them. If you gain enough points, tada! You just got yourself a $5 dollar discount on your next purchase (eShop card)!

I absolutely love love love these cards.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Prepaid Card's are a good budgeting experience for my children. It teaches them about shopping online, setting limits and maintaining a budget. They save the money to buy the card and usually already know what they are shopping for (their 3DS, Wii or WiiU, etc.) Lol. It even taught my youngest about being gentle. At first, he scratched that card so hard, he couldn't read the code and that was a waste of $30. But, now he knows better.
