These are a great way to pay for Digital Items in the Nintendo eShop. I like to buy a few at a time so I can save up my credit little by little and when a game comes out I have enough to purchase it. I like buying these from Best Buy because I earn Reward Zone points, plus when I make a purchase on the Nintendo eShop with my Wii U I also earn credit back from Nintendo so its win win for me.

It's just a gift card, but why not use the GamePad camera to enter the code?

All of all the eShop card amounts, this is my favorite. Yes, you could by the 35. But with the $10 times 3, you can hold on to any credit you don't need right now, or split between multiple accounts, which could be particularly useful when the Switch comes out. Even if Nintendo allows account transfers, you may decide you want to keep your WiiU account as-is.

This prepaid card is an easy and cost efficient way to purchase content from either the Wii U or 3DS eShop. Once redeemed, these funds can be accessed from either console, as long as they are linked to your Nintendo network ID. Keep in mind, purchases are tied to the console on which they are made (as of 1/5/2014) and that this card cannot add funds to a DSi or to the original Wii console.

I walked into the game section of Best Buy and couldn't decide what game to buy my nieces. So I went with a gift card, it was perfect for them because they ended up picking a game I would have never thought of. Plus, their mom and dad appreciated the fact that they didn't have to put their credit card in to buy it. This is definitely my go to now.
