I like to use these cards for purchasing off of the E-Shop since I like to have digital copies instead of buying the game at the store. They are good for all E-shop purchases including those on WiiU, Wii and 3DS. They make a handy gift for Nintendo fans as well since Nintendo is increasingly entering the DLC realm and indie title space.

It's a card that loads currency onto your Nintendo 3DS or Wii U systems. Works exactly like it should, absolutely no problems. I've bought tons of these at different values and they're always great since I get Best Buy reward points for spending money that I'd have spent anyway directly through Nintendo's online shop.

If you need to purchase digital versions of your games for the Nintendo Wii U , 3DS, & Switch this is the item for you. Please note if you plan to buy games from the Japanese eShop or any other eShop that is not in USA this is not the card for you as this card will not work on any eShop outside the US.

I always prefer purchasing my gift cards at Best Buy because you get My Best Buy points and your purchases are tracked and recoverable. The Nintendo eShop gift card is exactly as advertised. Only downside is the difficulty of having to create a new Nintendo account to be able to purchase games on their online store. Recommended.
