this is a great product if you don't want your credit card out there. sometimes game networks get hacked so this is a good idea if you want to avoid being at risk for hackers. the only thing is you have to have memory to download games and such to use this card. no memory will make it hard to get digital games.

As a person without a credit card, these prepaid cards are very useful. I use cash and redeem it on the eShop. It is the same as using a credit card to put money in your eShop account. While prepaid cards don't have the convenience of a credit card, you do get a nice graphic of such like Luigi and Mario.

Don't forget to pick up your Nintendo eShop points so you can buy all the classics on the Wii U virtual console and New 3DS Super Nintendo games. These even go on sale a few times a year at Best Buy which makes them a much better buy than just purchasing straight from the Nintendo eShop.

If you are worried about putting out your credit card information, this is the way to go. Just a code that you enter on the Nintendo eShop on Wii U or 3DS and you get that credit amount. Bought this 15% from BestBuy's Black Friday sale to use on discounted Fire Emblem: Awakening. Opened the eShop online (a lot easier to type on that than on the 3DS, donchaknow) and had put in the code and purchased the game in maybe a minute. Also, I got 20 Gold MyNintendo points!

This is a great card and very easy to use. Its much more safer han using a credit card or bank account. Whenever I want to add funds to my son's Nintendo account I will definitely purchase one of these cards. They have great designs in them too. Gamers will absolutely love them.

I like having the Nintendo e-Shop gift cards so that I can purchase some of the download content on my 3ds, including games that aren't available as physical copies. It also works if you're interested in the new themes that they've started releasing, as you can use the money for that as well.

Good for people who don't want to use their credit/debit card on the eShop and want a few extra My Best Buy points. It also comes with a card to use with a 3DS camera app. There's not much to the app other than taking pics or seeing how the card interact with one another though.
