$10 of Nintendo eShop credit (3DS or WiiU) and an AR card for Photos with Mario. The AR card is a nice bonus but more gimmicky than anything. Best Buy is excellent for shipping this line of eShop cards; no other major retailer offers them online.

If you are a gamer, even if your a not one, you could find your self playing more often thanks to this eshop card. Browse tons of games and download the ones you like with this. As a Bonus you get an AR Card to use it with Mario's camera App. Awesome!!!

If this can be purchased for less than its virtual currency (ie $15 or less), then you should absolutely pick up an eshop card for Nintendo purchases. Look for weekly 1/2 off sales to make Nintendo's slightly inflated prices on downloadable content more easily palatable.

Prepaid Card is a great buy if you like downloading Nintendo games. You can download new games and some older ones from the virtual console section. Only downside is that you don't get the physical copy of the game, but if you can get past that then this is a good buy.

Bought for a younger child to use on his 3DS right away for a purchase. Any remaining funds could be covered by a parent's credit card in the future, but for the initial purchase on a birthday the immediacy of buying was worth having this card to give.

I got this for my son, who has been looking for a particular game he could not find in stores. It was easy to use and get the game he wanted. The best part is that you don't have to worry about loosing the game cartridge while on road trips

I recommend buying these at Best Buy. They are nice to look at and you get best buy rewards point when buying them so that's a nice little bonus vs. just throwing your credit card in online (which I'll avoid where possible especially since Wii U typing is hard).

One can never be too cautious when purchasing anything online. I prefer to buy these top-up cards in $10, $20, or $50 increments rather than storing any card information on the Nintendo E-shop, PSN, or Xbox Live for my own peace of mind.

My children can use this card to add credit to their nintendo account online so they don't need to add credit cards online. And the card comes with a game card for a camera game on nintendo 3ds, which additionally doubles as a collectible.

Buying digital copies for the switch is best if you are going to use it as a portable device. You don't have to take care of those tiny cartridges and everything loads a little bit faster. Just make sure you also buy a bigger memory card.

Very simple, gift card for Nintendo eShop. I've only used it with Wii U, very easy to enter code into the store and get the $ credit. Makes a great gift to anyone who uses the eShop, which had a bunch of indie games not available elsewhere.

You buy the card at the store, take it home and place the code in your Wii U or 3DS, and buy digital games. Simple as that. You could of course buy them through you console, but this is convenient for when BestBuy has sales or you don't want to use a credit card.
