I got this free with the pruchase of the new Mario game for Nintendo switch. It’s a cool collectors item if you collect such things. Otherwise I would not think it worth the money to purchase it.

This is a nice, little, freebie that came with the Mario Odyssey Switch bundle that Santa recently bought for my daughter this coming Christmas. I suppose this will be a cute stocking stuffer.

It's nice they threw this in with the prebuy, but it doesn't really add anything to the game. It shows some attention to detail with the design, but I don't really know what to do with it.

It is a nice souvenir to have. I appreciated it because I still have the promotional coin from Super Mario Galaxy, but its value is really just whatever it is worth to you personally.

I'm not really sure the purpose of this thing other than for people that like to collect tchochkies. I suppose it's good for that. Haven't tried it in a vending machine yet though.

This coin came as an add-on to a game I bought for my son for Christmas. While not a deal breaker if not part of the purchase, it is solid, heavy and fun. I think he will like it.

Although I got this as pre-order gift, along with $10 coupon from Best Buy, I don't think I will pay $20 for it. The package feels cheap and plastic cover is prone from scratches.

It's hard to knock a freebie but it's just a collectable coin. Nothing exciting and I can't help but think that any other idea for a pre-order gift would have been a better idea.

Considering it was just a pre-order bonus and not a special edition bonus it's fine. Nothing worth getting online and overpaying for unless you are a collector and just need it.

It is a nice bonus BUT i wish it was not wrapped in plastic I wanted to feel the metal texture . The coin is encased in a plastic cover . It was free so I guess I cant complain

Item came with a pre-order. It's solid and heavier than expected. Leaving in the packaging for possible resale at another point in time since I'm not really into these curios.

I remember when preorder bonuses were a cool shirt or something more than a coin. I get the relevance of Mario collecting coins but I myself am not one. At least it was free.

The coin feels weighted and very solid. I don't have much use for it. I would have preferred something else for a pre-order bonus, but I can't complain. Overall, I like it.

Nothing crazy or unexpected. Just a simple metal coin with the hat on one side and MARIO ODYSSEY on the other. Came in a very tiny plastic bag. Good for collectors, maybe.

It is what it is. A solid coin about the size of a half-dollar just twice as thick. You would be the man/woman if you bust this out for a coin toss as a soccer referee!

This coin is pretty much useless but might serve as a cute decoration or paperweight. If you can sell it, I'd be impressed. Good for the price of "free with the game".

Its a coin. I’m pretty sure it doesn’t function as legal tender. Should have secret amiibo functionality, that would have been a cool surprise. At least it was free!

It looks cool and it feels like a good solid real coin but I'm not sure what it's purpose is. I would maybe give it to a kid who might think it's real. I dunno

It was totally free with the preorder. Not super impressive. Just a basic coin (but it doe come in a plastic case). It will sit on my shelf until it gets lost.

It's a heavy, well-designed Cappy coin that you get free with Mario Odyssey. Unless you're really into collectibles, I wouldn't pick this up unless it's free.
