Love the game, but don't really see the point of this coin. It's a thing I tucked away on a bookshelf. It doesn't do anything or have any special qualities. If you're really into preorder bonuses that have no real reason to exist, you'll love it!

This is as pointless of an item as the hoops that best buy made me jump through to get it, for some stupid reason best buy shipped my game to one store and this "bonus" to another... Totally not worth the time or trouble for a worthless trinket

I get tired of the small collectibles that are used to try and build brand loyalty. Just focus on quality games or lower the price. This is another item that will occupy the junk drawer until they are put in the trash.

IMO a coin is the best thing they can come up with? sticker skins for the switch? poster? DLC? lanyard? in Europe people got a cappy hat with preorder. we get a coin. Thx nintendo. most likely end up in the trash soon.

I was surprised this coin is actually made from metal and not painted plastic. Has a decent heft to it. Not sure what to do with it though, so it sits in front of my switch, waiting to roll off under some furniture.

This came with my Mario game for free. I can't imagine really wanting this though. Definitely would not have bought it. Perhaps if I were about 30 years younger, it may be a cool collectible thing to have.

Came free with something else I bought. Stored this away somewhere. Will probably never increase in value and just take up space. But it was free, so whatever.

Unfortunately, I’m not a true game junkie, but my husband appreciated the collector coin. It’s small, but carries a decent amount of weight and would be appreciated by any true Mario fan.

My nine year old got this with a purchase of the newest Mario game for Switch. Since he collects coins and pins it turned out perfect for him. Surprised to feel how heavy it is.

It's something nice to have as a way to remember the game. Super Mario is one of those rare characters that transcends generations. However, my coin came w/ a cracked case.

It’s neat and was a freebie when I bought the game. Wasn’t anything exciting about the coin and it’s certainly not all that collective as it’s not serialized or anything.

Came with my pre-order of Mario Odyssey. Definitely going to consider selling it. It's not like it's an Amiibo or anything so not sure what the point is. It's cheap plastic.

It's literally a coin. It does nothing. It just sort of... sits there. I have no idea why anyone would buy this, especially considering it comes with Mario Odyssey already.

If I was into video game memorabilia/collectibles I'd give this 5 stars, but I honestly almost just told the employees at Best Buy to keep it since I didn't want it.

It lost value. It was supposedly only for preorder Best Buy people only but even my grandma had one for just buying a coffe machine last week . It’s ok tho it was free
