Excels in Portable Gaming

The feel in your hands is great and the color is super. If you don't have one with a dock, I would recommend that first, since this works great as a second option. If you just want to play some Nintendo games in handheld mode, however, then this is the switch for you.

Great system but battery sucks

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I play this system just about everyday when you start playing and you get sucked in time fly’s until you see battery @ 15 or 5 percent then you have to hurry and rap up what you doing... I don’t like to charge it and play it at the same time it gets hot (Warm) pretty quick but it a nice system to play hand held games on.. would buy again just upgrade somethings and you have the best handheld system.

Fun on the go

Specifically for Animal Crossing and the upcoming Pikmin game. It's a good light weight and a pretty screen for a mobile device. The ability to dock and remove joycons was not important for me so no drawback to this unit.

Hard to go back to handheld with original Switch

I played the original Switch a ton in handheld mode, especially in bed. After playing with the Lite, the original Switch feels so heavy! The Lite is great if you strictly want to play handheld. But do not buy if you have any desire to play on the TV. I do miss that option more than I thought I would.
