Scooter is amazing, the app no so much.

It's a sturdy frame, rides great and the DRL helps drivers near me see me as I zip around my local University. However, as of January 2024, the NIU app is asking for proof of purchase and asking for very sensitive and identifiable information. I am not one to really care as what app doesn't have your info in this day in age but what it was asking for was too much. Again, the scooter itself is great and I plan on using for years to come but the app is a big no-no. Its unfortunate because the app does have a great amount of features.

Safe scooter

Heavy Machine

DO NOT GET THIS. unless you have the back and muscles for it. It’s better for home living or lower level places. It’s super hard to carry up 3 flights of steps. Super upset about this. I can’t even enjoy it because it’s such a task to bring up and down the stairs. I don’t even want to ride it at that point. :(. So upset. It’s super nice but the heavy part messes up the vibe.

Too slow

When I need to run errands it makes it easier to navigate LA and can get to locations faster then it would be to drive.
