It was very nice to have and getting around. It died on me in a month and a half. Customer service sucks no one seemed to care to help. I finally found a box to ship it to Texas to be fixed. I am about 5 weeks still with no scooter.

Does not hit the rated speeds it’s a bit slower compared to other competitors

Save your money. Sadly, we purchased one for our son in February and it stopped working the following Sept. I reached out to BB and they couldn’t do anything. I contacted the manufacturer and they said shipping back- they may be able to fix it. The cost of shipping is ridiculous. They wouldn’t even send a return shipping label. I bought it through BB in order have the service availability as we are membership holders. Unfortunately, they don’t service this type of scooter. Please do your research before buying. My son is devastated and buying a new one just isn’t in the cards as it cost a lot of money to begin with. For the record, my son is not overweight and followed all the guidelines.

Didn't work out of the box. After assembling I followed all of the instructions to get it powered up, only problem is the motor never turned on. Called tech support and they had me run through all of the setup again just to confirm it was faulty out of the box. The built quality looked amazing. Seemed very durable and the front LED halo running light was very nice along with the front beam light. I was impressed how bright the back red light was and that it actually got brighter when you squeezed the brakes just like a real car. Seemed like excellent quality too bad it didn't work and never got to try it.

Stopped working after 6 months of use. Customer support for NIU was not great.

Worked for 3 days then stopped working. So disappointing

Can not buy protection warranty from best buy for this item. So I teturned never opened box. Purchased from amazon with warranty.

After 9 months, the battery warning light came on and I couldn't drive it. I contacted Best Buy and they said they couldn't do it so I should ask the manufacturer. When I contacted the manufacturer, they said they had received too many inquiries about battery problems so they couldn't do anything. Who should be held responsible?

Good scooter comes in handy although it did have some damage on the battery when I opened the box… should’ve gone to Best Buy now it’s probably too late?

The folding stem is faulty when it arrived, can't fold down, contacted customer service, has to send it back for repairing, so disappointed.

This scooter was really solid. Unfortunately, after a week the scooter’s pickup(power) and battery has dropped. Had to return the product.

Best Buy no longer covers electric scooters under their total tech warranty. So if you buy a scooter and it fails, then you are on your own. To make maters worse, this scooter manifacturer refuses to take back the scooter for repair, even though it is still under warranty. I now have a very expensive paperweight.

I do not recommend. Put lil bit more money get a better one.

Runs slow/ the battery dies quick also over heats.

Only two years old and after a long winter in storage it will not power on. Charging cord is green and all connections are fine. Buy the warranty! I accidentally did not Disappointed teenager!

This scooters great and goes pretty far I got from the Bronx Riverdale to 27 street 2nd ave manhattan in NYC,but that was only 10 miles instead of the 25 miles advertised it was fully charged,so it was a really big let down was thinking of buying the niu moped but they probably lieing about that as well smh,10 miles tops not 25

Overall a good scooter was for my daughter 11 birthday and she loves it i rate 3.5 stars because there are better ones out there

I been using this scooter to go to college and it’s great. Speed is good.

Scooter was cool and all until the tire got flat on me the first time I rode it, I have the Best Buy membership to be able to return within 60 days I called Best Buy support and they also told me I’ll be able to return my scooter and now in the app they’re sayin I’m unable to return doesn’t make any sense at all I’m utterly disappointed
