This is absolutely a 5-star scooter...except for ONE major flaw: the custom speed mode which allows you to increase the speed to 23.6mph is basically useless! If you go into the app to turn on the custom mode, you lose the ability to change between eco and sport modes from the dashboard! So, your choices are to be able to change between sport and eco modes easily (but have to go into app to change to custom) OR you can have custom mode only. I saw a review with this complaint and thought the reviewer was being silly, but now I see exactly what he is talking about! It is such a serious problem, I'm considering returning it - even though I absolutely LOVE the scooter in EVERY OTHER WAY! Except for this absolute flaw...this stellar scooter is the REAL DEAL! Build quality, component quality, handling, brakes (simply physically impossible for brakes to be better than these, though some may consider them to be grabby), power, accelleration, hill climbing all FANTASTIC! I really want to keep this exceptional scooter which is the absolute best scooter on the market for $1000 or less...but I just don't know if I can live with this extremely nonsensical design feature where it is so difficult to switch between all modes!

The best electric scooter at this price point.I have just recently this scooter and man is this thing well built..where ever i go people keep asking me about it..who makes that scooter? how fast does it go? Wow looks solid how many flats have you gotten? This new model blows the segway g30 max out if the water.Aside from it having a great built quality, the max packs a 48v 13.3 ah battery with a max load capacity of 265lbs.Oh and also goes just about 23 mph max speed.Has dual disc brake with regenerative braking. The tires are self healing tires meaning if you get a nail stuck in them it will not go flat. There is a special coating inside the tire that aide the tire from certain puncture..Has a 450 watt motor as well

I’ve been using the Niu KQi3 Max, and it’s fantastic! The build quality feels premium, and the ride is super smooth, even on rough roads. The battery life is great, lasting me longer rides without worry. It’s powerful and reliable, though it’s a bit heavy to carry around. Highly recommended!

I have two boys ages 14 and 17. They both were very excited to receive the scooters for Christmas gifts. What was really important to them was the speed. My 14-year-old was looking for transportation to get to and from school without having to depend on Mom for a ride, and this scooter provides just that independent that he was seeking. My 17-year-old son has had other e-scooters in the past. What was most important to him was a scooter that had resealable tires because in the past he had been riding an scooter, and the tires blew while he was riding at about 20 mph, which was very scary for him. This scooter has resealable tires and he has not had any issues and has actually complemented how well put together this scooter is he uses it as a daily commuter to and from school and again to and from work. He hasn’t had any issues or concerns and has written at times greater than 20 miles one way, I’m excited for the newfound independence that my boys have with the scooters and I feel that they are safe and structurally sound.

So glad i went with this scooter. As a first time rider, it couldn't have been more simple to assemble (1 plug and 4 screws), power up, and learn how to use. Great acceleration without too much torque. The only downside is there isn't any suspension and 40miles is only achieveable under very specific conditions. Actual mileage is closer to 25-30miles

Picked this up at a great price since a newer model was coming out, but honestly? No regrets. This thing still performs like a beast. 40-mile range means I can go days without charging, and with a 23.6 mph top speed, it’s fast enough to keep up with city traffic without feeling sluggish. The ride is smooth, thanks to the wide deck and solid tires that eat up bumps. Brakes are strong and reliable, and acceleration is quick but controlled. The foldable design makes storage easy, which is a huge plus. Even with a newer version on the way, this scooter is still one of the best in its class. If you want a fast, well-built ride at a solid price, this is a no-brainer. 10/10 for performance, range, and value.

I purchased this scooter to enjoy when I go to campgrounds. This scooter is great but I wish I would have spent the extra $$ to get the scooter with shocks. The battery last for a looong time. It has an app for added info and capabilities but I just jump on and ride! I love that when Im in a campground, the distance to the bathroom/showers is no longer an issue. I love this thing! Thank you Best Buy for having such a wide variety of items as this was a purchase that I bought on vacation and I couldnt wait for shipping. ALSO...since I opened a credit card, I received an incentive that paid for half of my refurbished hand held blower.

This is an excellent scooter. Very comfortable ride, lots of power and great handling. I must say that I’m very dissatisfied with BestBuy for changing their policy regarding earning rewards. You now only earn rewards if you use your BestBuy credit card. I know I’m not the only customer who’s not thrilled with this change. Can a BestBuy employee tell me why this change was made? I just found out about this today. Moving forward I’ll be making my purchases somewhere else.

Love my E-scooter! Great range, decent speed, has no problem hitting it's advertised top speed. Won't rocket you off like a tesla, but it accelerates snappily enough. I'm 6'0" and weigh 185, and it carries my weight with no problem at all, great brakes, although they are pretty noisy when you use them. giving a 3 stars on ease of use, becuase the app is required to use the scooter, and it's a little tricky to setup and unlock the full power mode.

This is by far the best scooter. The speed and range for an adult is ideal. I go for rides every night and I would recommend this scooter.

This scooter goes fast and a decent distance. Looks great and is quality product for the money that you spend.
