I was introduced to my first experience with Airbourne this week and I must say...I Like! Loud guitars, screeching vocals, heavy drums and bass...its all in here. Has a very "old school" analog sound to it due to the live recording process and reminds me of 80's metal when it was king (think Van Halen, Scorpions, Dio, AC/DC, etc). If I had to describe it, I would say take some AC/DC, mix it with some Jackyl and Thin Lizzy with little bits of Cinderella, Def Leppard(old) and Quiet Riot and you get Airbourne! Found myself moving my head a lot because it just ROCKS and gets better each play. I recommend waiting until the special edition is available for the 5 extra bonus tracks and live DVD of the Wacken '08 festival footage. But if you can't wait... Get it...you can't go wrong for $10 and thats a lot of rock for your $$$. "Be good to yourself...and others

If you like AC/DC, Accept, Motorhead, etc. You will love this band, they pack a great punch and are full of energy. After you listen to the album one time you will know the songs by heart because they are that catchy.

This band fits in with the 80's metal bands / era sound a lot like AC/DC best album I have bought it years no decades.
