If you are looking for a movie that is truly biblical, keep looking. This one is nothing short of blasphemy!

For starters, I am not a religious person. I was brought up Christian, and while I do believe in something more powerful than myself, I don't subscribe to any specific religion, science is clearly the logical choice. Religion is not fact or fiction, it simply is what you choose to believe in to guide you as needed through your life. Noah is an adventure movie with action and phenomenal acting. It is beautifully filmed, entertaining and highly enjoyable on all levels. For the religious or non-religious. You must keep an open mind and while we know the story, it has surprises and over-all it is a dark story. Great PQ and AQ. Once the rain starts it gets very dark, and some scenes seem blotchy. But overall a wonderful presentation. Highly Recommended, for the story it tells and the visual pleasure it brings.

Noah, a great biblical, epic story that deserved a great film. This film fell short only because of the enormity of the original epic. Great acting and even better special effect earn this movie a 3 out of 5 stars. The 4th star was earned simply because Best Buy came through with a decent Steelbook!!!!

I enjoyed it to a point. It's not the exact story (whatever that is) but It is entertaining. Take it with a grain of salt and enjoy. The steelbook is nice though.

This movie wasn't as bad as advertised. It took a biblical event and made a story around it. Thought Russell Crowe did a good job. Great special effects. Just realize what you are getting when you watch it......

One of the most controversial film of the year of release. Aronofsky's version of NOAH is a mix up between his usual eccentric approach, and a blockbuster film. Its interpretation of Biblical 'hero' Noah seems to either gets religious people upset or critics everywhere. Sure he took great liberties, but the end result is a riveting and unusual 'bible' film that pull no punches in humanizing its hero, a man considered a great prophet by many Religions. Well acted by Crowe in his best performance in years, highly recommended if you are a bit open minded about it.

This was an interesting take on Noah. I would have liked for the movie to have continued a bit beyond the ending to see how the soon made out after leaving his family.
