The movie was hard to follow, because they got off the beaten path , according to our understanding of the Bible with regards to Noahs Ark. The special effects/computer enhancements was the strongest of the movie.

Against my better judgement ... I read too many Reviews , and the majority were favorable...Sharknado 2 had better effects & dialogue. Film borrowed the Large Tree Men from LOTR and called them Watchers or Rock Men . All the CGI animals were placed in a catatonic state , as were the viewers I watched this film with. Blu-ray can't help this mess. "A Beautiful Mind " co-stars ( Russell Crowe & Jenifer Connelly ) needed Shock Therapy from a Lighting Bolt in this catastrophic act of God. John Wayne as a Roman Centurion in 1965 " The Greatest Story Ever Told " was more convincing.

Movie script not even close to the story in the bible. Not for those who're looking for a realistic biblical story. Gives a wrong impression to those not familiar with the bible's account of Noah.

Was disappointed with this movie. I had been really looking forward to watching this but found it to be very long and while I don't normally fall asleep during movies, I fell asleep a few times...

Was so excited for this to come out. Was planning on having family over to watch on the bigscreen for a movie night. Glad they couldn't make it. We watched it anyways. Lol...this has about nothing to do with the original Noah (Bible version). It should be called transformers or something because it's more a tansformer type movie with those weird alien thingies.

Does not follow the bible story line which we all know. Seems a little too futuristic rather than it's actual time period. Pretty good acting. Just not as good as it was hyped up to be.

this movie could have been better . it was just ok . i was kinda bored but i felt it was better then watching regular t.v. i would wait for it to come out on cable .

Main characters are portrayed but story line is a far stretch from what I was raised to believe. Whatever "floats" your boat. LOL Wait to buy it in the $5 bin.

i can see why this movie did not do too well. It takes too many liberties on the story. Should have called it something else. Too long and boring. Don't bother.

Honestly, this movie didn't work for me. The amount of artistic license taken is plenty and the movie pretty much ended up being a fairy tale. The Watchers (fallen angels who didn't figure in any Noah Ark story till date), the tyranny of Tubal-Cain (never reference him in any other Noah Ark story) and the absence of the wives of Ham and Japheth (as per the accepted various ancient versions of this biblical story where 8 humans traveled the Ark) really didn't work for me.

Not too keen on this take on the biblical story of noah, don't get me wrong it had some good stuff, but would not recommend it. But this is just my opinion.

If you're expecting the movie to follow the Bible you will be disappointed. The acting and special effects are good but the story is greatly exaggerated.

I was not happy with the movie as it went against scriptures. I would not recommend to watch unless a person just want to find out how the story line went.

I was expecting more , a little confusing , not the story I remembered growing up. I didn't like the fact that it looked like a transformer movie!

Great CGI and visuals but very poorly based on the true Bible story. If looking for a movie that is Biblically based, do not choose this one

Special effects wise the movie was impressive. Don't buy expecting the same story because the plot took its own liberties to rewrite it.

the effects, sounds, movie parts were great but went over board with all the added scenes and things that really were off base.

If I had seen this movie in the theatre I would not have wasted my money on the DVD. Not accurate to he Bible.

Only the 2nd time in my life I didn't finish watching a movie. There was nothing Hard to follow and where did they get that story. Huge stones turning into I don't know what. Maybe I missed the point of this movie but really it was just terrible

This is by far the worst movie I have seen in 45 years. Even if you disregard the fact that it follows nothing that is written in the Bible, the acting was terrible, the rock creatures were ridiculous and the plot was awful.
