I gave this wallet to my mom for Christmas, and after daily use. It started to break down after 5 months. And when the phone was on the case, it fell and cracked the screen. Not worth it.

did not protect the phone completely, the screen cracked when it was dropped from about four feet however, it looks very nice the longer you have it. i just wish it could protect the phone more efficiently.

needs a magnet or something to close it. the gapping adds to the bulk. it looked nice in the package. but on the s8+ just looked like all the cheap ones

I gave this case a try but did not like it. The build quality was good, but i found that the design was my issue with it. I have a screen protector on my phone and when i would put my I’d and other cards in there slots, they were leaving in prints on the screen protector. Because of this I took the case back after about a week and got a different one.

The finish of the leather marked up to much every time I touched it would have a scratch on it

Took it back. there is no closure on it. The top flaps open exposing the screen.

Care didnt cover my screen well and phone broke within a week.

I've always purchased Wetherby products for phone wallets because they have one slot on the back of the wallet for most used cards (in my case, debit). That way, you don't even have to open the wallet. Unfortunately, they don't make one for the Galaxy 8+. Except for missing that feature (you listening Nomad?), it's very good quality leather (on par with Wetherby) and holds what I need. These things make you simply your life... carry only what you really need. Yeah, it gets a little bulky if you stuff it too much... but these leather folios "loosen up" as you use them and become much more pliable. I deliberately stay away from straps because I put it in my pocket like a wallet and the strap would get in the way of that. Overall, very nice product that is well built... just wish they had that one slot on the back for the debit card... oh well.

The case looks and feels like good quality leather but money pocket isnt big enough. Money sticks out unless you trifold it but then it doesn't close fully. Credit cards rest against phone screen when closed and leaves lines sometimes.

Great case! Review above is one for stupid people. Making the case so you don't have to bend your money would make the case bigger and bulkier! Duh! The current case size is perfect and have no issues putting my money into it. I had over $500 in my case and it caused no issues.

Scratches the phone screen, DO NOT BUY. I didn't even have many cards in and the leather portion of the lowest pocket scratched my brand new S8! DO NOT BUY, I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY!

the bottom part of the case where the phone clips in broke on me after about 9 months of routine use. I expected the case to last longer than this. While i really wanted to like this case, it was a disappointment.

I got a new S8+ for Christmas and this new case. I put the case on immediately to protect my new phone. One week later, my phone slides off the seat of the car onto the carpeted floor. When I picked it up there was a hairline crack down the side. I should note that I had a S5 for 2 years and never had a problem. Two weeks later I dropped it getting out of the car and the bottom right corner shattered and cracks spidered up and across the phone. It's ridiculous! I thought this case would protect it from the occasional drop but I was wrong. Buyer beware!
