Posted .I'm sorry to hear that this case did not work out for you. Nomad products use a full-grain leather that is a natural material and subject to change over time with daily use and wear. Changes in the color and texture should not be considered a flaw but inherent to the elegance of the leather. With continued use, these scratches will buff out and as your case develops more of a patina, it will become less susceptible to these scratches. Beautiful case, but didn't work on I-Phone X
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't know how this company is in business as the case muffles the sound in I-Phone X even though the Case is made for it and states on front. The I-Phone X has an antenna on the top part of the phone and this case covers the antenna so you can hear fine but the other person either can't hear you or sounds underwater. Had to return!

Posted .Hey, we're sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your Nomad Folio case! This is a frequent issue that can occur with any and all folio cases when the front cover is folded over completely backwards. The noise muffling that may occur on a call is a result of the noise canceling microphone on the back of the phone - Apple relocated this microphone to the back of the phone near the camera lens for the iPhone X. The issue can be easily resolved by either:
1. Not folding the cover of the case over across the back of the phone completely while in use.
2. Or, you can navigate to Settings > General > Accessibility > Hearing > and toggle off the Phone Noise Cancellation feature.
This forum may also help: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4540217?start=15&tstart=0. Although the relocation of the noise-cancelling microphone was a conscious choice by Apple, they still sell folio style cases on their own website and they don't offer much information on the issue. It's just something iPhone X users who want a folio case have to keep in mind.

Solid case! Watch out for chipped cards

Be careful when keeping cards in the slots to insert cards with the chip inside of the pocket. I made the mistake of leaving the chip-side out for a few hours and it left a bunch of small scratches on the screen.
