You have to get the IPhone at "exactly" the right spot to get a charge. Sometimes you cannot even find the spot.

    What AirPower?

    Posted .

As someone who was patiently waiting for the AirPower announcement, I was quite disappointed to hear Apple killed the project after dragging us on for two years. Fear not! Nomad has you covered with this wondering alternative to AirPower. The design is very sleek, and the finish is quite nice. Out of the box solution, it's really fairly simple. Just throw it on there and it charges. Watch Charger is magnetic (obviously), and has that rubber protector which lets it sit perfectly. A few caveats I will mention here: * No additional USB/USB-C outlets around the side like their original Base Station that didn't have a Watch charger. * If you plan on charging your XS Max vertically, you have to be sure to rotate the camera towards yourself to not have any issues. * The A/C adapter cable is short (4-ft) and the brick is quite large. Standard A/C adapter however, so I assume if it becomes an issue you can find a replacement.

    Buy It!

Don't mess around with iffy products. This may cost a little more but works flawlessly. Brought home, plugged in, set my iPhone XS Max on it, set my Apple Watch on it and Bam! Both charged at the same time and just as quickly as with the Apple-supplied wires/bricks. And it is unobtrusive, small, and slick looking. Can't beat this.

I received this today, and I love it. Out of the box and set up in under a minute. Works perfect with my Apple watch 4, my charing Air Pd case, and my iPhone X - all at the same time. Looks great, works great. Have been looking at many options, and this is by far the best.

I would have waited for the Airpower but this has been great and has has freed up an outlet space. It charges my series 4 watch and XR in a respectable time.

    Well Done.

I rarely write reviews, but this one is worth it. Since apple canceled AirPower (epic fail), this is by far the best alternative, and if you google that, many reviews will agree. It charges your phone, watch, and the newer Apple AirPods with the wireless charging case. This thing has 3 Qi charge on the base! there are 3 lights in the front that tell you which one you're using; left, center, right. The best advantage I have here is you cannot miss one of the wireless charge spots! unlike most other wireless chargers, placement is the problem, and it has to be "perfectly" placed to charge. thats not the case here! not 5 stars because: 1) its really hard to get two phones charging on this... if the watch charger was on a swivel or something to point it down, it would be easy. 2) their other model is similar, but does not have the watch charger, however, it has USB ports so you can plug in what ever you want. if this thing had a usb port on the back it would be ultimate!

Great product, but missing travel adapters

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I was surprised that these didn't include the travel adapters that I've seen in so many YouTube reviews. For the price I would hope they came with the charger. What a big disappointment since I travel often and this would definitely come in handy. This use to be $119 before the announcement that the AirPower got cancelled, and now the price has been increased to $139. Which is extremely expensive. For them not to include the adapters and raise the price, makes no sense. I feel a bit ripped off. Also in the FAQ it states that the white LED is suppose to turn off after awhile to save energy. However on my unit it doesn't. After the phone hits 100% charge, the color changes from amber to white, and stays that way. Is my unit faulty? Or have they change the default behaviour for the status lights? I need to know if there's something wrong with my unit.
