I have used a few base stations for wireless charging and watch charging. This Nomad base station, which I purchased from Best Buy, is wildly overpriced, does not always charge my watch, and is much smaller than it looks. 1) Price: the Anker Wireless Charger is less than $30 right now with a coupon code and it charges 2 phones at once. 2) Consistent charging: the product descriptions states there are 2 coils built-in for charging, but I find that my phone needs to be placed delicately if facing vertically for it to charge. My watch often does not snap onto the charger and if slightly bumped in the night, it will stop charging and I will wake up with it partially charged. 3) Size and appearance: the product pictures are very close up and make it look large and magnificent. While the leather is nice, it is smaller than it appears. I have an iPhone XS with an Otterbox Defender case, so the size and bulk of my phone may contribute to this. In conclusion, this product is way too expensive when considering there are much cheaper alternatives out there.

Not only is this charging station practical, but it’s beautifully made. Works flawlessly, not like cheap charging pads that don’t work well.

We had 2 of the 10w Belkin wireless chargers before upgrading to these. We thought that they would be easier to manage instead of having a wireless pad and a separate Apple Watch charging stand which is sort of true, however The 3 coils on these chargers are very peculiar about where you place your phone. We have iPhone XS Max’s and idk if people with the smaller phones have less of an issue but almost half the time we miss the coils when we put the phones down and they don’t start charging, it’s so bad to the point where a couple mornings we got up for work and realized our phones did not charge over night. I get that there is some user error here but for $120 I would expect for the coils to be a little easier to hit considering cheap $30 Qi pads are much easier to hit. We have no issues with the Apple Watch charger though.

It can be difficult to find the point of charger, temperature go high after long periods of charge

Can’t charge vertically so if you are trying to use AirPods too, good luck Charlie. Watch Charger isn’t 100% responsive

The watch charger connects right away. The charging pad is very touchy and has to set just right.

Phone needs to be placed precise for it to charge, little movement and it stops. For the price I expect a little more. Love not having a lot of cords for charging and no blinking lights.

One of the wireless pads stopped working after just under a year. When I contacted Nomad they asked that I send a recording of the issue; only to be told the warranty had expired (in the time it took me to send in the video). I for this price point I expect a quality product.

Does not charge my phone. It does charge my headphones and i-watch. It has not charged my I phone. Very unhappy. I will return it soon.

It does not work well at all. It will charge one phone fine horizontally, but the right vertical charging spot, flat out doesn’t work. It is so sensitive to where it needs to be placed, it makes it worthless. It took me 5-10 mins just to get the right side to register that my phone was there. I have an iPhone XS Max in an Otterbox commuter case. I thought the case was the issue, so I took it out of the case and had the same problem. Again, it will charge the phone in the Otterbox case just fine horizontally from the middle charging cell. It will even charge it from the left cell horizontally, but the far right cell doesn’t like the phone placed vertically. Yes, it will charge on the right cell with the phone placed horizontally, slid to the edge, but that’s impractical. So if you want to charge 2 phones and a watch look elsewhere. 1 watch and 1 phone great, but I couldn’t imagine trying to charge 1 phone, watch and the coming new AirPods on this, or even the current AirPods in a wireless adapter case. Needless to say I will be returning it.
