Major design flaws, stay away from this brand.

The forces applied by the mechanical break pads are much greater than the forces applied by the magnets. This product has a major design flaw, it simply doesn't work. See videos on youtube and you'll understand what I'm talking about. Stay away from Nordic Track products.

Want basic IT features? Don’t buy Nordictrack
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you are tech saavy, do not buy a Nordic track product. Their IT features are subpar. I have both the rower and the bike, so I can comment on both. Both do not sync with Apple health, you cannot edit the music selection, you cannot stream your own music over a class, you cannot watch steaming apps on it, and you cannot fast forward through classes to a specific time if you want to restart. Lastly, the class filtering/search functionality is so annoying! It always shows me a random list of classes that do not pertain to the machine that I’m on. You cannot search based on a inclusion criteria with your machine plus other workout equipment, so the suggested classes are not accurate. You can search by class type, but then you cannot filter it further based on equipment criteria. I have noticed that you can now include the equipment available in your settings, so maybe they are trying to fix this. The outdoor classes are cool, but HITT style is extremely limited and those are the best studio workouts for this product.

You may listen to your favorite music through the dual 2-inch speakers by plugging your device into the auxiliary music port provided. As this is not an Apple product, it does not sync with Apple health. However, you can connect a heart rate monitor to the console.
Class filtering and searching is impacted by your logging in. You can connect your tablet to the console and use the iFIT Smart Cardio Equipment app to record and track your workout information. More instructions for using these functions can be found in your user manual.

Not worth the price

Overall, the rower worked good over that time until the day the cheap nylon strap broke. I ordered a replacement strap from Nordic Track (lead time given to me was 4 weeks). The strap did arrive early but then realized this rower requires special tools to work on. Rather than deal with this any further, I decided to junk the entire thing and buy a Concept rower.

do not buy this tower.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.very poorly made. full of plastic parts. horrendous customer service. the accompanying app is one of the worst fitness apps i’ve seen. everything you can imagine going wrong does. already had it break twice in barely a year and a half. and it costs over 200 bucks to fix it cuz their warranty is extremely limited.

Cheap Rower that breaks. Terrible Customer Service

The strap has already snapped and broken twice. And I have called Best Buy's Geek Squad 4 times to try to get this repaired. I will not buy another Nordic Track item nor will I buy any exercise equipment at Best Buy again. Terrible customer service.

Not happy
