Doesn’t work, extremely slow Speed-test. Consistently being knocked offline on Firestick. Inability to choose which VPN you want to connect to. 300mbps download Speeds when off drop to 30mbps if lucky when on. Save your money.

I came to this from another VPN provider due to the sale and the fact that my year was up with the other provider. Heard a lot about Nord so decided to switch. Not a great idea. First off, it is much slower than the other provider. Understand that all VPN will slow you down some no matter how robust their servers are and how close to you they are. Even after swapping around servers to find a closer/faster one I was still a lot slower. Second, the software is problematic at times or maybe it is just NordVPN themselves. If I enable my VPN and start browsing I will find after some period of time that I show connected but I can't open anything. I have to disconnect and reconnect. This same issue exists on two different Windows machines. It also exists on a Linux box where I use OpenVPN for the connection to Nord, which leads me to believe it is their servers that are the problem more than the software. This also has happened on my cell phone as well as when the laptop in question is connected to other networks so I know it is not my local network setup. All in all this is not a bad choice for someone who just uses Windows and needs a VPN, but it is not a great choice for anyone who wants something that just works and works well.

Easy to connect and stays connected. I was worried adding multiple devices would be difficult but it wasn't. Works great!

It's 2024 and they do not offer a secure DNS, an encrypted domain name service with their own servers! Simply outrageous and there's no way to find out until you install it and test it and see what's happening. Complete disappointment, am requesting a refund from Best Buy since Nord will not refund the purchase. He indicated that they are working on it but have no estimated time for completion. With Cloudflare have free DNS over TLS setup in my Asus router, which is actually more secure than Nord's own VPN with their unencrypted DNS.

Blocked by way too many sites/apps. Pause feature is nice but if you have to use it at least several times a day then almost totally negated. A simple feature like auto-connect on MacBook was overly complicated (redirected twice then I had to sign in on my Apple ID EVERY time) and does not forebode well for a smooth technical experience going forward. Lastly, thought I had cancelled before the first month and was intending on doing the 30 day money back guarantee and informed them just a couple days afterward. Would not honor the 30 day money back (no biggie) but wouldn’t refund the even when I offered to pay prorated, and even sent me the terms and conditions in quotes in an email. Any company who can stand by their product refunds if you go just couple days over, in my experience. Express VPN is comparable in speeds and superior in every other respect (especially number of blocked sites/apps) so am going with them.

Bought it, but code is invalid to redeem. Worst part is that i cant request a refund on this.
