    I used Norton for 2 years I had my issues from time to time but it switched to BITDEFENDER no troubles at all.

    Just not very easy to use and frankly slows down your computer. The VPN service isn’t very good and slows down upload and download speeds

    I don't use antivirus software anymore except for what comes with Windows. However, no antivirus software truly protects you. Sure, if you get an old virus it may protect you but, it's all reactive not proactive. When I did use them, it was never Norton or MacAfee. They are too stuck in their ways and unreliable compared to others. Just don't click links or download from untrusted sources and you'll be fine.

      Hi Useless - Sorry for the confusion, but it *absolutely* gives you 6 months of free security and identity protection. Credit card is just required to activate the subscription, but can be IMMEDIATELY disabled so auto-renew doesn't happen. It is free for 6 months, it just has this as a registration prerequisite. - DWN Symantec
