Sure the lifelock is nice to have, but all OS's now protect actively against the tings 360 does, so by the time Norton gets to the protection layer, your OS has already done all the work. There is a reason they are trying to give it away. It slows your computer and is no longer needed as in the past.

Suddenly the lap top didn't turned on. I didn’t buy a protection plan. I fortunately had time to returned it back to the store and grant me my full refund. Remember, regardless of having a protection plan you still have (after the purchase is done ) a month to return the product. Just always verify what day they give you as your expiration date for returns.
