Antivirus in 2023 is no longer necessary
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.anti-virus software such as this is outdated and pointless. Windows Defender is finally up the task of defending your computer against any and all threats, leaving the need for any 3rd party antivirus in the dust.

Extremely frustrated
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I could never easily log in even though it was synced to my gmail account. Im supposed to be on a trial because its a new device and its been over a month that i signed up and still haven't benefited from it. The chat is a joke.

Posted .Hi Kash - Please either contact (888) 237-8289 (BESTBUY), Norton at (855) 815-2726 or support.norton.com. I'm using Google as a TPA and it works just fine - Hope this helps, and good luck. - DWN

Not an asset
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't need. Don't use. Best Buy needs to quit trying to saddle customers with these packages that require future subscriptions. Have my own protection suite that's proven effective. Might be of value if it's your first computer.

Truly Unsatisfied
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Norton 360 Deluxe was offered as a free addition with the purchase of my new laptop. Installation instructions were very confusing! I still don't think my computer is protected with this product! Shame on Best Buy for promoting this product!

Stop including these things
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sometimes you get 'free' stuff at the beginning that you really don't need. I wish stuff like this were more optional and not 'forced' on a customer. I already have a virus program - so never needed these.

Norton
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unless it’s free don’t buy anti virus software. It’s not needed any more and windows defender does the job. Delete this when you get windows set up.

Posted .Hi PDS12 - Thanks for your feedback, but if you really want the #FACTS on Defender, watch this 3rd-party comparison of Norton 360 and Defender. Same malware attacks on both systems - Norton survives all the attacks, but Defender does not and is rendered *unusable*, INCLUDING complete removal of Defender: https://youtu.be/S9LPxOPiYqU?si=ot2Bo4lSLd8nMyyN&t=448

Norton Ant-Virus
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have Never liked Norton Anti-Virus Programs. They’re not reliable enough to catch viruses at all! I’d Definitely NOT Recommend this product to anyone. I have McAFFEE for All my devices and will never change.I have instilled McAfee instead

I Don't Use It
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Can not tell you how this works. I used Norton Commander for years, but they were the first to go to the subscription service and I hate that. So, it came free with the laptop but I don't use it.

HARD PASS
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not a fan. Had Norton before and it didn't really help. Plus the hoops to unsubscribe were.....not cool. Still get emails almost 2 years later telling me to update my card info. HARD PASS

Virus as opposed to AV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Virus as opposed to anti-virus. Don’t believe it? Install it, then try to uninstall it. You’ll get nagged constantly to reinstall and it’ll leave behind registry entries. No thank you.

Deceptive virus threats
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After it expires, they keep throwing these horrible fake virus meltdown warnings to scare you into renewing it.

Free 6 months? Product key doesn't work.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A wonderful idea to offer the customer a free 6-month trial. I love the idea that I didn't get to use the product as it is not working. Kind of disappointed as I wasn't able to install it into my sister's laptop either. Not happy with it

Dont
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Norton might as well be a virus itself. there are plenty of free options that have nearly as much functionality. I work for an IT company, and we avoid Norton like the plague.

Not worth it even if it’s free in my opinion
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It runs constantly in the background. It uses so much of the cpu it literally was almost over heating with no apps open had to disable and uninstall

||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked with it for years.,..,.Too CPU intense. More concerned about telling you that you are being attacked as apposed to allowing you to operate your PC. Just Too Much !!!!!

Misleading
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don’t consider this as a bonus, especially when I already have Norton. It will not extend my subscription. Therefore, I consider this as more of a sales gimmick, misleading sales pitch.
