Hi John - thanks for your comment. Even if you don’t use the security product, you’re missing out on half the free value. ID Advisor is a great identity/privacy service from our LifeLock division that invented the ID theft protection industry in 2005 - give it a try (no intrusive software need be installed ;)

Hi Kirk - sorry you had difficulties redeeming the license. Best Buy emails you the license key, and it's also printed on your receipt - then you go to norton.com/bestbuy to activate. The *good* news is the license window doesn't start until you activate the product, so you can literally hang on to this until your Staples license gets near expiration, and then activate it to enable the full 6-month period. Hope this helps - DWN Symantec

Hi KO - Appreciate your (and info sec's) opinion on this, but strongly advise you to watch this 3rd-party video test, where malware viruses *utterly destroy* a Windows11 machine, but it remains operational with Norton 360:  https://youtu.be/S9LPxOPiYqU?t=360
(Ha - interesting the time code begins at '360':). Thanks for your comments, as it will hopefully help others understand that Defender is not a complete solution. - DWN Symantec
