Posted .Hi Emax - Yes, you're correct. The purpose of most any 'free trial' - whether security or soap products - is for customers to try it before buying. Not really sure how that warrants a 1-star rating - did you actually try it out and not like it? - DWN

Posted .Hi Matt - Please help us understand: This product is usually offered FREE with a PC purchase, but did you buy it? If so, contact us at support.Norton.com so we can help, up to and including our 60-day refund policy. We certainly don’t want anyone feeling “robbed”. - DWN

Posted .Hi Dayana - Sorry to hear you had trouble, but your review/rating don't quite sound right?
If our product came with a PC purchase, it was a free offer.
If you bought the product, it CAN be returned at Best Buy, or even Norton has a 60-day money back guaranty, so it doesn't look like you followed through with all your options?
Please contact us at support.norton.com for a refund, and then hopefully you can revise your rather uninformed review.

in 2022 this thing is no need with price?! why
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There is plenty similar products with no subscription for free. Why do we need this? All default windows is working pretty good. No need. Poor slow thing.

Posted .Hi - If you’re open to some excellent third-party testing, suggest you start watching this Norton/Defender comparison @6mins in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S9LPxOPiYqU
Spoiler alert: malware completely trashes the Defender machine while Norton machine stays protected.
Bottom line: Security is not all the same! This video just demonstrates the risks and “cost” of supposedly *free* protection. - DWN

This product was forced on me.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was "free" with a laptop I bought. Ended up returning the laptop minus the 22 dollars that the free Norton cost even tho I didn't use it. If Best Buy ever offers you this "free" trash , decline it.
