    First things first ALWAYS research everything about a product online before. Then make common sense decisions on if you want it. I have to say this. Almost every single time I use any anti virus whether its Norton, Bitdefender, McAfee. It has always been a cumbersome experience or they eat too much of my PC resources that usually is not a problem but sometimes I play games that are graphic intensive. Some security programs force you have it on in the background all the time. sometimes they try to shoe horn in Ads in a computer program too. think it does what it is meant to do which is protect your computer but imo its not worth it. I would just suggest always backing up all your data and just be careful online then use anti viruses. If you are not in some critically important career that requires your data to be safeguard I wouldn't even worry about anti virus most of the time.
