    I've always liked Norton products. They've been a mainstay since DOS days. Norton 360 (3 Device) with LifeLock Identity Advisor is not the product I would have chosen but since it came with a new computer, who am I to argue. I should have argued. I don't need most of the added features and it slows the computers down -- all off them on which it is installed. Norton 360 (without LifeLock) was once a nice product that didn't slow things down. I don't know if that's still the case but I'll find out if I renew the license because I will NOT be renewing the version with LifeLock. I can't add a photo to show what happens. I can only tell you that my browser and most apps are now slower and they often have to reloaded (F5) to work at all!

    I don't use these free 'gifts' from BestBuy (or other resellers for that matter). Typically the business model is to get you to install the 'gift' and require that you sign-up with a credit card or it heavily embeds itself into your system. Then getting rid of it after the free trial period (which is what this basically is) is very difficult. I don't mess with them at all. The included security software with the Windows OS is more than adequate and the second and third party software (like Norton) really don't add anything to the conversation.

      Hi Jon - Thanks for your opinion. Allow me to correct a few things:
      1. As part of the activation of this free product, we do ask for a renewal payment method, but that can be cancelled *immediately* after activation and you still get 6 mo of protection free.
      2. We have a simple tool available that completely removes Norton in about 2 mins: www.norton.com/nrnr
      3. Your largest misconception is about Windows default security.
      If you really want the #FACTS on Microsoft included ‘security’, watch this 3rd-party comparison of Norton and Defender.
