    My Opinion ponders... Norton needs your Data to create a profile on their servers and constantly monitors your activity to update said profile. well When/IF they ever get hacked?, your profile could be exposed? if you're not a subscriber, Norton has no profile on you to be exposed. Think about it?! just saying! just my opinion! Also takes lots of PC resources to montior, slowing down PCs overall performance?

    I no longer use norton products. They tend to slow down performance since they are continuously running in the background without providing an actual benefit while doing so. Do your due diligence when downloading software and visiting websites and that should be enough to keep you safe from getting malware. But if you do get something, I recommend malware bytes.

      Hi ‘Student’ - Thanks for your opinion, but you might be interested to know that the https://www.av-comparatives.org/comparison/ organization disagrees. Checking its latest testing, Gen products (Avast, AVG, and..Norton) were the *only* products stopping 100% of the threats and at very minimal system impact. You may also note Malwarebytes did not fare quite so well, in false positives nor performance. Perhaps it’s time to give Norton a try again? Hope this helps - DWN norton_us
