    My laptop started having more issues once I activated my free trial. Suddenly my brand new, fresh out of the box laptop has several right from the start according to Norton. The amount of upselling trying to get me to load my laptop with all of their offering is annoying. The only reason I’m keeping it is because it was free and it comes with a VPN.

    This reconditioned MacBook Air looked great and ran fine when it arrived. In fact, it was my first time buying and using a Mac, and I was impressed enough to buy a bigger, better one later on. So, with such a positive beginning, what's the problem? Well, the MacBook Air I received was modded up to 16Gb memory and 512Gb storage. I didn't realize it until months later. It sounds great in theory; HOWEVER, in reality, it has turned this laptop into absolute poison when it comes to trade-in or resale. In fact, Best Buy themselves refused to accept it as a trade-in, even though it was good enough to pass it off on me in the first place. Best Buy, why would you knowingly sell me a MacBook that had been tampered with? If it's not good enough for you, why would you sell it to your customers?
