Hi Boot - Thanks for your review, but Identity Theft has been the #1 FTC-reported problem for over 15 years. With about 1 in 5 people losing $2.707B in scams last year alone (FTC reported), there’s never been a better, more relevant freebie offered by Best Buy. It’s fine that you don’t want/need the LifeLock services… until you’re scammed. You see - with those kind if reported incidents, it’s not ‘if’… it’s ‘when’ - good luck - DWN

If you're interested in the #TRUTH from a third-party perspective on Defender, there's a helpful comparison video that puts both Norton and Defender through the same malware tests. It’s quite eye-opening: Norton successfully blocks all the threats, while Defender unfortunately doesn’t hold up as well, 'bricking' the Windows machine and the malware actually REMOVES Defender! As far as MalwareBytes goes, revered testing organization AV-Comparatives has both Norton and MalwareBytes protection equally effective (blocking 99.5% of threats), although Norton had far fewer false positives (9 vs. 32). Hi Max - Thanks for your feedback. Appreciate your opinion but it’s rather misguided. If you really want the #FACTS on ‘built-in security’ (e.g., Windows Defender), watch this 3rd-party comparison of Norton and Defender. Same malware attacks used on both systems - Norton survives all the attacks but Defender does not and PC is rendered unusable, INCLUDING **complete removal of Defender**!! https://youtu.be/S9LPxOPiYqU?si=ot2Bo4lSLd8nMyyN&t=448
