Posted .Hi Bobl,
Thank you for sharing your feedback! Norton 360 with LifeLock Identity Advisor is designed to provide comprehensive protection—covering antivirus, scam protection, VPN for secure browsing, and identity monitoring. If you already have McAfee, this product may feel redundant, but many users choose Norton for its added privacy tools and LifeLock features, which go beyond traditional antivirus.
If you’re unsure whether to keep it, consider whether identity protection and VPN security are important for your online activities. These features can add an extra layer of safety, especially when shopping, banking, or using public Wi-Fi.

Posted .Hi gMasta - Thanks for your opinion, however https://www.av-comparatives.org/comparison/ disagrees with you? Latest industry-wide tests have Gen products (Avast, AVG and… Norton) as the *ONLY* protection blocking 100% of attacks with _lowest_system_impact_ of all vendors. Perhaps it’s time to update your opinion with this FREE 6-month trial? Hope this helps - DWN

Advise against Norton
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're worried about protecting your identity, I strongly suggest staying away from Norton. Customer service is/was awful, and the program itself seemed to bring about more problems to my PC than it prevented.

Do not install Norton on your computer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This came with a laptop purchase for my father in law. Norton might as well be considered the same as the adware it claims to fight. Windows defender works well enough. Don't pay extra for this.

Posted .Hi Glenn - Thank you for your opinion. If you really want the #FACTS on Microsoft Defender tho, watch this private 3rd-party comparison of Norton and Defender. Same malware attacks used on both systems - Norton survives all the attacks, but Defender does not and the PC is rendered unusable, INCLUDING **complete removal of Defender**: https://youtu.be/S9LPxOPiYqU?si=ot2Bo4lSLd8nMyyN&t=448 - DWN

Buggy and has annoying pop up messages
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There was a time when Norton was the choice for home users when they wanted a solid Anti virus. This product is awful, it's buggy, keeps showing pop up messages scaring the users and asking them to purchase additional features they never really need. I am sure a less IT savvy user would fall for this cheap trick and end up buying those additional features, I have tried their VPN and is unusably slow.

Posted .Hi Evie - Thanks for your opinion. Although our protection on tablets is not quite as full-featured as say our Windows client, there is significant benefit to installing Norton on either *Android* or *iPadOS* devices. Here’s what you can expect from Norton’s protection on tablets:
✅ Antivirus & Malware Protection (Android) – Scans apps and files for malware, ransomware, and spyware.
✅ App Advisor (Android) – Detects risky apps before installation using Norton Mobile Insight.
✅ Web Protection – Blocks phishing and malicious websites.
✅ Wi-Fi Security – Scans for unsafe public Wi-Fi networks.
✅ VPN (Virtual Private Network) – Encrypts your internet connection for privacy.
✅ Dark Web Monitoring – Alerts you if your personal information is found on the dark web.
✅ Device Security – Warns about outdated OS versions or security risks.
✅ SMS Security (Android) – Helps detect scam messages.
✅ Parental Controls (With Norton Family) – Allows parents to manage screen time and monitor online activity on children's devices.
We hope this helps you see the value in using Norton on tablets, Evie - DWN

Posted .Thanks for your feedback. If you're interested in a third-party perspective on Defender, there's a helpful comparison video that puts both Norton and Defender through the same malware tests. It’s quite eye-opening: Norton successfully blocks all the threats, while Defender unfortunately doesn’t hold up as well.
