    here is the problem with all of the add on's with purchasing a computer from Best Buy, is that they give you six months of free you tube plus and 6 months of norton life lock identity software and malware protection, but after the trial basis is over it is a subscription to all of these products which is very expensive to you. The computer should come with firewalls already installed.

    I hate this. You don’t need an antivirus if you’re not on shady website downloading shady software. Its a waste of money in my opinion

      Hi Kel - Thanks for your opinion, but if you really want the #FACTS on Microsoft Defender, watch this 3rd-party comparison of Norton and Defender. Same malware attacks used on both systems - Norton survives all the attacks, but Defender does not and the PC is rendered unusable, INCLUDING **complete removal of Defender**: https://youtu.be/S9LPxOPiYqU?si=ot2Bo4lSLd8nMyyN&t=448. Also regarding performance, the organization https://www.av-comparatives.org/comparison/ who's been doing tests for decades, disagrees with your position! It shows Microsoft's Defender has 3 TIMES the negative performance impact of Norton, with Norton providing better protection. You're probably dealing with very old impressions of Norton - you really should try this *FREE* one and update your knowledge to that of current products, don't you think?     We are not a fan of Norton. IT seems to slow down our computers and constantly has pop-ups trying to sell you more services. It's annoying and we switched to a different provider.

    I think it sucks, tried using it twice, I don't like how it doesn't allow google chrome without warning me about how dangerous it is, and it doesn't have a disk drive. I was completely blind sided when I got it. Wish I had payed more attention. I would have bought a better one. And it's honestly such an embarassing purchase that I wouldn't gift it to my least favorite person.

    I wish Best Buy would stop giving away Norton with every purchase. At least companies have stopped auto-loading it on computers. It does nothing but slow the computer down and mess with Windows Defender.
