Bogs down my machine, and only catches 86% of infections. Do yourself a favor and use Bitdefender instead - it runs light and catches 99% of malware. Just buy a digital key from BestBuy at a huge discount.

Posted .Hi GL - Thanks for your review, but this is really bad advice. What will you do “when something bad actually happens”? Who do you call? A fraudulently filed tax return in your name takes at least 90 days to resolve with the IRS, and that’s if you know what you’re doing, (like our resolution agents do, that have been doing it for years)
Identity Theft is now so prevalent (2.7M claims with FTC in 2023) that its not a matter of ‘if’ but ‘when’ it’ll happen to a person. Best Buy’s offer is very timely and valuable - you should really try it out before incorrectly stating it’s “junk.” - DWN

Norton VPN is a hassle

There is no language that lets you know there is a free six month trail and the renewal price is $110, not the $49.99 that Best Buy claims. So I didn't sign up and will get McGafee.

The price after the 6-Month Trial comes to an end is in fact $49.99 for the first year. Then the following year is the renewal price of $119.99. Hope this helps and that you give Norton a try.

Same malware attacks on both systems - Norton survives all the attacks, but Defender does not and Windows is rendered unusable, INCLUDING complete removal of Defender: https://youtu.be/S9LPxOPiYqU?si=ot2Bo4lSLd8nMyyN&t=448. Not Happy with it and it's gotten too expensive

I made the mistake of keeping my credit card on file and they did an automatic renewel for a 150.00 charge this year and it's impossible to get your money back if you're not happy with the product.
