    You don't need a separate antivirus. These days OS comes with built in antivirus and firewall.

    Norton is simply trash. Unless you are a big corporation or dealing with extremely sensitive data then it's just a resource hog and not worth it. Just use the free AV and security stuff. You'll be fine.

    Norton is 100% trash. I use Malwarebytes and this product was given to me for free with another purchase and I did not use it and would not use it.

    It’s $120-ish dollars for the year afree the trail is over and you don’t get all the benefits. And they push the premium version every chance they can.

      Hi AliA - Thanks for your opinion, but if you really want the #FACTS on the need for Norton, watch this 3rd-party comparison of Norton and Microsoft Defender. Same malware attacks on both systems - Norton survives all the attacks, but Defender does not and is rendered unusable, INCLUDING complete removal of Defender: https://youtu.be/S9LPxOPiYqU?si=ot2Bo4lSLd8nMyyN&t=448 (to say nothing of free LifeLock, creator of the ID protection industry!) P.S. There is no cost to either Best Buy or you for this FREE trial, so your second opinion is incorrect also - Hope this helps explain why - DWN norton_us

    Didn't stop the Russian bomb that wiped out my laptop BIOS firmware on up through the rest of the otherboard three weks ago after renewing itself for Over 100 bucks!

    Antivirus are absolutely a scam you legit don't need it. just use Windows Defender. Companies just give this away since they get paid.

    Do not use Norton unless you want half of your RAM to be used up and your windows install to be corrupted. Windows defender tries to delete this as malware, enough said.

    DO NOT install if you have a windows computer it will make harder for you to game and a lot of things will pop up as “virus threats” and it’s not a threat at all

    Stay away from Norton. The reality is there are both far better VPNs, and far better Anti-Viruses. They stewed in the industry for so long, that they try to get by on name recognition. Not impressive.
