      Hi JohnC - Thanks for your review and sorry for your confusion, but this is *absolutely* a FREE 6-month subscription that thousands of BBY customers take advantage of monthly. The license key was printed on your receipt for a product purchased (laptop, printer, etc) that entitled you to the FREE Norton, and also was emailed to you. There’s NO initial charge, even if activated and used for the entire free period. You can cancel renewal at any time, including immediately after activating the license. You then would receive half a year of device, scam and identity protection from the best service in the industry for over three decades! Hope this helps - DWN norton_us

    They have made this purchase a yearly thing. I have had issues for YEARS! I don’t even remember when I bought it.

    I have no need for this, it was included in a bundle. I also don’t think that it offers me any more protection than my own avoidant behaviors.

    i hate norton, they seem like a virus themselves and give you a hard time when you try to uninstall it

      Hi ‘Rock’ - Thanks for your opinion, but if you really want the #FACTS on Microsoft Defender, watch this 3rd-party comparison of Norton and Defender.
