    Not sure why one would need it when there is windows defender or free versions. But still good. Expensive though

    This came bundled with the Laptop I recently purchased. I am not a fan of McAfee, so I gave it a shot. So far, so good. But my one gripe with any Anti-Virus software is: Is it really working for you? Or, is it trying to BS you with all the things it finds. Like how much could by NEW laptop have already been exposed to? I will see how well this 6 months goes and make my decision to keep or not. It does have some good features like driver updater, etc. So, compared to other software of this nature, there seems to be a lot of bang for the buck. Good thing too, because, It may take 6 months for me to find this necessary, due to the price tag I could be looking at once the sub is over. ouch.
