    Needed to enter a credit card, just to activate the 1 year of service that was paid for upon purchase of the program. Did not want to take the chance of forgetting to cancel subscription.

    This software worked on my two year old Macbook Air. However, it did not work on my new Macbook Pro. The software’s VPN blocked internet access to my new Macbook Pro and I had to contact Apple Support to get the software removed and resume internet access. It took some work to get this software completely removed. Beware of the VPN before installing on Apple products

    Product is decent, but the requirement to add a credit card for auto renewal before install is aggravating. I was able to cancel the auto renewal function by logging into the account after download, but Norton also removes some of the security features as a penalty. The package does clearly state the requirement, as full disclosure.

    Low rating since Norton lies about allowing you to turn off automatic payment renewal. You CANNOT turn it off. Good luck trying to remove your payment info also. How can one trust a company to protect us from viruses when they lie to us?

    It is not any good, it will locate what is wrong but does not fix it, It will tell you what other Norton you need to buy
