    What can I say about this product in a positive light? Average! I didn't pay for Step 1, 2, 3 and so on... I paid for Protection! The card should instantaneously got into effect when installed, not give you the run-around creating password, username, nicknames etc...etc... Lord! If I knew ALL of that would have been involved, the retailer could have keep this card.

    very hard to download following the instructions from best buy brings you right to the norton website and wont let you put in the pass key wants you to subscribe

The activation key does require an agreement to activate a subscription, which is required to use the product. However, once you've created your Norton account and activated your key, you can easily manage your subscription settings — including turning off auto-renew — directly from your account dashboard at my.norton.com.
