Hello - very sorry to hear, but don't quite understand who 'They' is/are? This product does need to be installed on your device(s), either by Geek Squad or the purchaser - did that happen? If not, then so sorry but no - you weren't protected. If you have this subscription you can contact us at support.norton.com and our team can try to help you at no charge, but since it wasn't installed at first our Virus Protection guaranty would not apply. Hope this helps - good luck to you! - DWN Symantec

At this point in time everyone is familiar with various AV programs and it's up to these companies to not only remain good at what they do, but also increase their offerings and be lucrative, I do understand this. In that vein, Norton is now being shipped with LifeLock identity advisor to help with identity protection. To start, the installation is incredibly straightforward, there's no issues in getting it installed, whether on the first machine or multiple machines. Go to the website, input the key, download the installer and go. If you're installing on an additional machine you simply click 'protect another device' and you are taken to a site to download an installer that already has everything ready to go. You do not have to login with your Norton account on the additional devices if you choose not to. Norton includes all the basic protection, firewall, antivirus, and some other addon services as well as VPN and parental controls. There's not a huge amount to write home about here as these are common offerings among antivirus programs at this point. However the one thing it does come with is LifeLock which is the most recognized name in identity protection. It allows you to monitor the information for one adult on the web/dark web for breaches that could harm your identity. The challenges I've had with Norton in this iteration (and to be honest, most previous iterations) is that it's incredibly chatty. There's all sorts of little notifications that pop up in the corner when it's performing various tasks, whether normal scanning, 'background tasks' or, most annoyingly, attempting to sell you more services. Personally I have major issues with software I paid for trying to make me pay for additional things. There seems to be no great way to make it stop sending these messages. If you close any of the notifications with the 'X' in the corner it does give an option often to 'do not show this again', however in my experience that seems to only intermittently work. Some of the notifications are now showing up less frequently or not at all, but others are still coming up no matter how often I make that selection. I moved to Norton to get away from another product that was basically doing the same thing, and while I have most of a year left on this, I'm not sure I can see myself staying with it just because of the annoyance of those chatty alerts. All in all, it's decent protection both for your PC and mobile devices, as well as for your identity, but the chattiness of the software makes it hard to recommend.

Complete protection for equipment and Identity

Norton has been for years a guarantee of antivirus protection and this version should not be different. In this case and because the current risks exceed the traditional virus in your device and I was interested in potential identity theft or the inadequate use of my identity I when for the option with the life lock, identity advisor. With three licenses, I installed them on my three most used devices: laptop, phone, and tablet. The installation is very efficient in both environments: windows and android. Installation is very simple, after downloading the first version (on my laptop), I created my account and introduced the license code. After this first one, I send a mail with the link that I used to initiate all other installations. In each download, the page recognizes the version to download: windows or android. As I said, very simple. One element that needs to be considered, activating the account. You will need to enter the information of your credit card for an automatic license renewal after year one. I was hesitant at first but the Norton engagement that you can cancel at any time and they will inform you before any charge is done was enough. I trusted Norton with my equipment against antivirus and my identity protection, I can trust their engagement. The first scan is amazingly fast on all my devices and I imagine that the last version of each virus is updated. The same quick process with the scan of the web about my phone or email, one warning received from an old misuse of my email in the past. An additional aspect that is also included with this license: the VPN functionality is included. Yes, I recommend thanks to its simplicity, the trust in the programmer and the VPN license.

    Norton remains the best protection

Norton 360 Deluxe with LifeLock Identity Advisor is the perfect security accompaniment for your computer(s) in this day and age. I was the victim of identity theft several years ago, thinking at the time that internet security was safe. I never thought I would need LifeLock until that event had happened and my credit took a hit. I’ve been using Norton for some of my devices, and others have been using another main line name. Of the two I have felt that Norton does a better job overall with protection. Now, 360 Deluxe has proven its worth as the best protection for my computers. 360 Deluxe with LifeLock made the transition from my other Norton subscription easy. The set up as seamless and immediately set up a virus scan. I’m grateful that overall it works behind the scene and really ensures your protection. On top of that, there is VPN to check your network and all of the other devices using that network. You can download this onto three devices, so I immediately set this up on my gaming computer (which is also my main computer). This can also be downloaded onto mobile devices so I set this up on my iPad as I am on that device outside the home the most. The other great features that are included are 25GB of cloud storage. So using LifeLock for this 1 year trial gets me excited knowing that my identity would be protected. I’ve seen the commercials throughout the early 20’s up until now and feel that this is so necessary as online hackers are getting smarter. Overall, this is a great tool to have to ensure you and your identity are protected as we maintain this digital and web-based world now.

    Norton - 360 Deluxe (3-Device) w/ LifeLock

I received my product code and downloaded and installed it, activating my subscription in only a few minutes. The steps to get it up and running were simple and easy to understand/follow. I ran a quick scan of my system, which is quite new, and there was nothing to find/quarantine. LifeLock Identity Advisor came with this, and it's probably the best part of the whole thing. The ability to have software out there watching out for my identity and its use so that I can be notified of suspicious activity is wonderful. Norton 360 Deluxe does its job, for the most part. You will never, however, forget that its there to protect you, but you'll also come to realize that there is more protection available. After spending your money to buy and install this on your system, they'll remind you of their other offerings to bring you even more protection. I've only had the software a week, and the notifications just keep coming. I really need to figure out how to turn the notifications off because they are super annoying. I know that security is something we all need to work diligently to attain, but why isn't something labeled Deluxe the complete package for my laptops?

Mostly everything we do today revolves around our technology. From the phones in our pockets, to our laptops/PCs, we are constantly relying on these devices to get by in life. This being the case, why not spend a few dollars to protect these expensive investments and our information. This is the reason why I decided to give Norton 360 Deluxe a try. It is a great protection package that includes security for up to three devices. I installed it on my two laptops and on my iPhone. One of them being my son's gaming laptop, which is a must!! There is so MUCH vulnerability within the gaming world. Norton gives you the option to utilize their password protection service that will automatically fill in password information, all while keeping it secure. I run scans on my devices regularly to ensure that everything is secure, and that no threats are present. Norton can also be used as a secure search engine, and will notify you of suspicious websites before clicking on any search results. What I love the most about their deluxe package is the VPN feature. I want to keep my location safe and secure. The Norton VPN service offers just what I need. To make things even better, it comes with 25gb of cloud backup. You really can't go wrong with that. You keep your files accessible while maintaining them secure. Do yourself a favor and protect your technology. You won't regret it!

The 350 Deluxe Norton pkus Lifelock identity advisor I believe to be a great security shield for anyone. It was so easy and fast to setup and disnt take but a few minutes. Within minutes of setting up I was notified of checks that i needed to attend to. I was surprisingly shocked to learn that a few months ago my name, address, birthday, and more were breached and the source was from the dark web. Had i not installed this program i would have never known about this! I was able to gather information that i need to secjre my accounts and everything else along with it because of the lifelock protection. Immediately after insfalling Norton also provided me information on checking something within my android and fixing the issue. Once again i had no knowledge of that until i was provided it with this program. Overall i am very pleased with the level of protection Norton 360 deluxe and lifelock offer me to keep all of my information protected and safe. Its absolutely worth having this because you just never know when your files, email, and all of your information can be leaked.

I have always loved using Norton. I also use some others. Normally if I install an anti-virus, they always seem to warn me that I should delete the other anti-virus software installed on my computer. This was an easy install, and I did not get that warning. With this, it will have an option to mine if you want while your computer is not being used. I don't really care for mining for crypto as I did it for a week just to see and maybe made 5 dollars. So, just not worth it for me. But I like that it gives the option. With this you do get a good amount of protection. It scans your software for updates, can set up VPN, which is really good if you use a laptop out and about. You can set up parental controls. You can also have it auto save passwords for websites. I am overall pleased with Norton 360. If you have kids who use the computer or have phones you can set controls. l like that its simple to use, and yet gets the job done. Easy to install, and easy to use once installed.

    Great All Around Security Software

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Norton 360 Deluxe is a great all-around security suite. It offers virus and malware protection, VPN, Lifelock Identity protection, and my favorite feature, a password manager. The virus protection is kind of the main feature of this software, but also the one I notice and "use" the least. It's one of those things you kind of don't want to notice and hope to not really use. And in that aspect, it does a really nice job. The scans are unobtrusive, and I haven't noticed any adverse effects to system performance or anything. The VPN is also a nice added feature. It is all automatic, and you can set it to always be on, or just turn on when it detects that you are on an unsecured network, such as public wifi. Both of these features can be used on up to 3 devices, including PC, Mac, iOS, and Android. I installed it on my PC and iPhone. The iPhone app is nice, and allows you to turn on security features and VPN features on your phone. And you can download separate password manager and ad blocker apps. As I mentioned before, the Password Manager is probably my favorite feature included. I have always wanted to try one, but was skeptical at how streamlined the process would be. I was pleasantly surprised. One you turn it on on your PC, anytime you log in to anything, you get a popup asking if you'd like to add the credentials to your vault. Then, next time you log in, it will automatically fill out the info. If you install the smartphone app, this extends to your phone as well, and again, I was pleasantly surprised at how streamlined it all is. You go through a couple simple steps of setting up the password manager in your iOS settings. From there, its similar to the PC functionality in that anytime you log in to something, whether it's in browser or in an app, you can hit "Passwords" on the iOS keyboard, and then select Norton Password Manager, and select the appropriate account and it fills out the user and password. I was absolutely thrilled with how it all works. One last really helpful feature of the password manager, is that you can have the manager change your password for you, to something very secure. It is all automatic. You click a button and it will log in, change your password, and save the new password in your vault. It will even tell you if any of your passwords are not secure, and give you the option to update them. I have been wanting to overhaul my passwords for a while, but always put it off because I hate coming up with new passwords. This made the process super easy. Overall, this is a great security suite which offers great protection while not impacting system performance. You can install on a variety of devices, and the password manager is easily the best part of the entire suite for me, and worth the price alone.

Norton has a long history of providing malware scanning and protection. I have used it in the past and looked to give it another try. Regarding the Norton 360 Deluxe, the product is fairly easy to install and fairly easy to configure. The windows install is pretty seamless. For Mac, there are more hoops to jump through to get it set up but that is not the fault of Norton but the security features of Mac. However it is worth noting One thing that I feel is a negative is that the features are difficult to find and manage. Should be a little more accessible. Also, the VPN is a separate charge. For LifeLock, I can't for the life of me find the application or settings. It may be another install but I cannot find it. While it may be completely set up and running, it's not very clear. Overall, the program does what it is intended to do for scanning and Norton's history of providing quality protection makes this a good option for protection. For LifeLock, again it may be my issue, but it's touch to find how it is set up.

It’s kind of funny to me that years ago I always considered Norton the best for PC Virus protection. But then for a while I wasn’t as much of a fan as it seemed to bog my PC down at times and I moved on to other brands. I may be back to being a Norton guy after this. It’s not easy or totally fair to judge a program like this after only a weeks’ worth of use. I mean I didn’t have any issues the week before either. However I like what I am seeing thus far. The software is well thought out and easy to navigate. Installation and set up was a breeze. The Malware and Virus protection seems to be working well and Norton has a very strong reputation in this area. The password manager works well. I’ve been using another brand PW manager for years; I may switch to this one. The life lock feature seems cool, and does provide some peace of mind. Identity theft can happen to any of us with a little bad luck. Dark web monitoring for potential issues is great and they have an identity theft restoration program should you have a problem. I did look for some reviews on that part in particular since I have not had to use that service and feedback seems mostly positive. At the end of the day it is tough to judge exactly how effective a program like this has been in the short term. But it seems very unobtrusive and once it’s set up it’s all pretty much happening in the background with no issues protecting the PC. Background scans can happen and not even notice. Combined with an intuitive interface I would have to say this program is giving me everything I would want and expect from it. I think it’s pretty clear we all should have some sort of virus and malware protection and I think this is a solid 5* product and I would absolutely recommend this to a friend.

    Protect Your Computer And Identity

In this day and age you need to protect your computer and identity. This combo does just that for you. Norton 360 is an antivirus program and LifeLock Identity Advisor protects your identity from theft. I have used free antivirus software in the past and had no idea how little they protected me. Set up is easy. Everything you want to do with Norton is all within the My Norton app. You can scan your device, turn on VPN, manage passwords, and more. Start Up Manager is a great thing to use. I was able to turn off a few things I didn’t realize started up when my computer did. I was able to have my computer start up much quicker. If you are looking to scan your computer, this program gives you different options. There is a quick scan, which will look for things in key areas. If you want to scan your entire computer, you can choose the full system scan. You can also customize a scan, this is so that you can have it scan areas that you think are important. You can also do a schedule of when you want your computer scanned for viruses, etc. If you are worried about someone accessing your WiFi, you can turn on the VPN, which will help you hide your identity and information from hackers. You even get 25 GB of cloud storage for backup. The LifeLock Identity Advisor can keep an eye on your credit and even help with restoring your identity. Some pop-ups are annoying, but it is worth a few pop-ups now and then to ensure my computer isn’t going to be hacked or worse (having my identity stolen). This is a great program for protecting your computer and other devices, while also protecting your identity.

So far I'm pleased with the product. It was easy to install with no issues at all. It runs very smooth even though its performing real-time monitoring. I actually really like that it monitors when updates are needed for programs as well as prioritizes the ones that might cause you an issue. The parental controls work great and we actually found my wife's email was used on a dark web portal so that was very weird to see. Very impressed with how thorough it is. We haven't had any issues with firewall compatibility. Can't speak to the password manager as we tend to not save our passwords. Nothing against the product, it's just not something that we do. The 50GB of cloud backup is nice as well...gives us a backup to our backup. My only complaint is when first using, everything we did we got a Norton popup to allow this or that. It was a little frustrating at first but that seems to have stopped after a few days of using. I get it because it was personalizing the set up. Probably could have been done during the actual set up but it really wasn't that big of a deal. Great protection and speed.

Norton 360 Deluxe with LifeLock Identity Advisor covers monitoring for: -Device Security -Dark Web Monitoring -Secure VPN -Cloud Backup -Password Manager -Parental Controls. From the list it require additional or separate subscription fee for: - Anti Track - Remove from peronsal information from dark web. Installation process check of existing security software on the device and remove it previous to Norton’s application. During the process, it took me several login one for the application then the web version of the account. There for Parental Control it install separate application which request additional login. Once installed and all setup, the security monitoring started manually, dark web monitoring provide alert of personal information existing in dark web. On this subject, the alert only provide existence of personal information but not exactly where and who or what and how the personal information has been compromised. Hence, as per the alert it is a bit panic triggering that I don’t fee it help to the user who is paying for the application with such service. For the Parental Control, it looks comprehensive that help from the functionalities I observed. Upon installation, it allow to select what user of the device to monitor. Then if the kid start using the device, will se the House Rule that consist of: -WebSite that visit -Searches -Internet Searches filter out age-inappropriate sites -Videos sites visit -Time on the device can be restricted -Applications can be blocked on the device -And provide option to ask to parent to allow to view specific sites. Then to the parent, it send out notification that the time of internet reached limit and turned of access. Although I haven’t fully went through each of functionality for parental control, does give certain level of control on the device that kids are playing or studying or connecting with friends. Now how well Norton does will tell the time as use down the road as I can’t tell based on few days usage. Downside: - Installation require multiple login and multiple separate installation based on functionality - Manage Devices require web access with new authentication and can’t be done all within the same application already installed. - Dark Website Monitoring feels more panic triggering alert than providing help due to incomplete set of information and also requiring to pay to remove personal information instead of including part of the Norton 360. - The tablet or mobile device version doesn’t support landscape mode - Each of coverage for Norton 360 Deluxe is bit confusing as can’t tell for instance specific feature included for LifeLock and Security monitoring included in 360 Deluxe.

ok LifeLock but Norton drags on system performance

On the surface this looks like a good deal.... install on 3 systems and get 1 LifeLock. I think that the LifeLock is OK but I am not impressed with the software. I uninstalled it on my desktop (new Dell Ultra 7, 16GB RAM, Win11 Pro) because it drags the performance down. First, the usability with my work VPN is dreadful no matter how many settings iterations I make. Second, the system performance feels slower even though I haven't quantified that. You can, however, see that it takes much much longer to shutdown the system. I will probably be looking at alternatives in the future.

Hi mjs - Thanks for your review, but actually third-party testing https://www.av-comparatives.org/comparison/ disagrees with you. Not only are Gen products (Avast. AVG and.. Norton) the only 100% effective at blocking threats, but their testing shows us the MOST efficient as well! Hence, if you don’t like our performance, you won’t like *anyone’s* performance - sorry. Hope this helps - DWN norton_us
