I have a lot of confidence in Norton since way back, back when people knew the name Peter Norton and Symantec. In all those years, I think it has served me well. I can't remember having a virus issue that slowed my down. That being said, I am dismayed as Norton's marketing. The product generates so may many reminders about its various extensions, what I haven't turned on, and up-sales that sometimes it feels like malware. I wish the product would just stay in the background and do its job. I am just about convinced that Norton turns on auto renewal whether you do it or not. Back to the product itself, yes, I would recommend it to a friend. It runs on all the computers that I control. The product is a five start. The notifications drop it a star, almost two.

This program runs quite similarly to mcafee- like i paid to spam myself with 90s era endless popups. Also, it runs scans and then tells me i have to pay extra to apply any of the recommended fixes..... seriously!? really dissatisfied with the purchase. If this low price isn't high enough to provide all the advertised functions, I'd say Norton should rethink the pricing model. I hate being bait and switched, and that's how this feels.
