I'm traveling and wasn't able to install it in Mexico. Norton support says it is 'country limited', but this information is hidden. If I'll pay more - they can activate it. The product description says nothing about country limitations. A cheap trick. I'm surprised that such a reputable company earns money in this way. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT

Thank saw a familiar name with a cheap price. As someone whom always purchases similar products, this is the first and only one that required me to create and account by way of credit card. Well why did I buy a downloadable years worth of product if I cant even use it without a credit card. Of course Best Buy would not do a simple cheap refund without spending time with customer service so this purchase was simply a waste that I have not used.

It is intrusive and disappointing

I don't trust them. Turning on services a consumer doesn't consent to or accept is alarming. These two companies Symantec / Norton are not the same. The overseas support is an embarrassment to both Symantec/Norton and BEST BUY to sell such a product.

Called support, on hold way too long to speak with someone who couldn't help only to be transferred to someone who didn't understand English very well. Was told they would email a new link. That was 3 days ago...still nothing!

Download wouldn't work so had to rebuy Norton directly from vendor. No best buy support on download due to covid. Now fighting with best buy to cancel their unfulfilled purchase.

The top rating has gone down, the push for their LifeLock plan has been annoying. Also, from the reviews that I have read online, Norton is pushing their bitmining that is built in the app, though turned off by default. From what I'm reading, the bitmining portion is very difficult to uninstall. I decided not to go with this product after purchasing for this reason and will be using a different anti-virus software that has higher reviews as well as none of the bloatware.

If VPN is enabled, I notice WiFi connection is disconnected every time I unlocked. If VPN is disabled, I get notifications that internet network is suspicious and recommends to turn on VPN. It’s frustrating and BestBuy does not accept returns on this since it’s a digital download item.
