Hi Stephanie - Thanks for the review and sorry for any confusion. The BBY order page does actually say “for new subscriptions”, but can still be used to extend coverage. Best method is to turn off renewal on your existing subscription then add/activate this license on the same Norton account near previous expiration date. The code will see the new subscription, and ask to continue coverage w/new one. Hope this helps - DWN
