the item does not have enough compression to make the tortillas stick together and form easy pies like I have found on other quesadilla makers at friends place.

I thought it was the same size as my old one. Found out it was smaller. Finding right size tortillas difficult. Sorry I bought it.

why do you sell this garbage, you should pay people to take products like this from your store

Made one quesadilla and it quit working, tried using it several more times but it would not heat up

Does what it says but what a mess. Recipes only call for 1/4 cup of cheese. That's not much, but if you go over, the cheese goes everywhere. I gave it away after a few tries. What it makes is more like a sandwich because you use a tortilla on the top and a tortilla on the bottom.

I bought this about a month ago for my son's girlfriend. Last night, she invited my husband and I over for dinner to "break it in". Imagine my surprise and horror when she text me to tell me that it was broken when she took it out of the box. I ran right over to see what she was talking about and sure enough, it was literally in pieces. The cover had a break in it about 3" square reveling the inside metal. I was so embarrassed. I'm not sure how it was broken because it was packaged securely. It appears to have been put in the box and shipped that way. Box wasn't damaged nor was the Styrofoam. Hopefully I can return it - not sure I want to replace with the same product - we'll see how customer service is about it.

Not big enough for regular size tortillas. Plus it clamps down so tightly that you can't hardly put anything inside them.

Was not happy with this at all. I cut up chicken, oinons, and green peppers for my quesadilla and even though it was cut up small it made it so big you could not put the top down all the way so it was not able to seel it at the edges, let alon cut it like it shows. I ended up with a bigger mess than I do when I cook it in a frying pan. It also does not clean easy. The first one I made dripped cheese all over the inside since I was not away how little it could hold and I could not get it to come off without turning it off and using a scrub pad on it. Also they say it is for an 8" shell, but the shell was way to small for it.

It works but I find that the plastic covering is exactly that cheap plastic and you could buy a George Forman and it will probably last longer then this. Its ok just not what I expected

For the price you pay, you will use it a couple of times and it will get put away for a few months or forgotten.

Didn't work as expected. The surface was getting sticky and causing a mess.

Serving my daughter a quesadilla & saw coating had come off grill & on food. Terrible, only had it a week. Only used water & paper towel to clean. Brought back to Best Buy & they said they would not take it back. I have to deal with the manufacturing company. What a hassle.... very disappointed!!!

Do not buy!!!, coating started to come off on food, only had for two weeks. Had to return it. I had followed cleaning directions as stated in manual. It also is rough to get clean.
