This is my second cotton candy machine. This time it was for my niece. I takes awhile for the machine to warm up but it makes great cotton candy.

My son nagged for cotton candy machine maker for Christmas, never had one or do I know how it works. Got this machine on a special from best buy, the machine was small and practical. Very easy to use and very easy to clean up. Makes a perfect cotton candy everytime. My 7 year old son love to use it! the best part about is you can put just about any hard candy and it comes out to be cotton candy almost instantly.

Worked significantly better than I thought it would. The kids really enjoyed it. Simple to use, fairly easy to clean, no real complaints. At least not with the machine. Kids seem to have too much fun with cotton candy. Most of them were wearing a fair amount of it by the end of the evening. One hint - after the cotton candy begins attaching itself to the stick, make sure you hold it horizontally. Yeah, it's in the instructions, but who really reads those?

This was the best price we seen for this cotton candy maker so we grabbed the last one. It says that you are able to make it with regular hard candies they give you a list of. I have found that actual flossing sugar for the machine works best, I tried a few of the list candies and it didn't work well with those and only gave me very little cotton candy but a huge mess to clean out the machine. So I found that flossing sugar works best to get a huge cotton cone. Also it only comes with two plastic cones by we made more with thicker cuter paper it was extremely easy. But with flossing sugar I give this a 5/5 review- vs with hard candies I only give it a 2/5. The flossing sugar was hard to find in store.

It does not produce as much cotton candy as a regular standard 'carnival' type machine. The different hard flavored candies in fun to experiment with. Some hard candies work better than others when producing the cotton candy 'floss'. Overall, the amount of candy you get after one batch is just enough for kids and the option to use sugar free hard candy is nice too.

Great for price, hard to clean but easy to use and fun with kids. Can't argue with the price. Can use any hard candy which is cool, highly recommended

this was fun to use, especially since everyone got to choose their favorite hard candy to make cotton candy. It was real money saver not having to the set of sugar crystals because you can use any hard candy of your choice. Once you figure out the best angle to hold wand the cotton comes out perfectly.

We got this on sale for $19.99 and made several batches with our 4 yr old granddaughter. Our 1st batch we used jolly ranchers. We crushed two hard candies in a zip lock bag. The machine worked great. The bad thing was the cotton candy turned into harder cotton candy. It was good but not as soft as cotton candy from the fair. I also bought a box of floss sugar on Amazon and that turned out to be the trick. The floss sugar made soft and delicious cotton candy. Great fun and good eats!

My daughter called and said the "girls" made cotton candy at my granddaughter's 13th birthday party, She said it worked well, was easy to use and produced a product which met everyone's expectations. It's not often you can satisfy a teenager's desires, so I consider this a very good selection.

It was pretty hard to make cotton candy at the first time, but I was able to get used to making it after couple of failures. Making with sugar is easier than making with hard candies. One negative part of this machine is that it's a bit noisy. Otherwise, it's good for the price.

Although this isn't a machine I use or would use daily, it is still a pretty cool machine. You can use it for parties or when you have company coming over on the weekends or just one of those nights that you're watching A movie and you want something different from popcorn .

I bought this for my daughter's 4th birthday party. It was on clearance and the price was great. We also purchased "sugar free" candy, and after reading the instructions, the machine worked quite well. Mind you, it is not the cotton candy that you might buy at the state fair, but for a small machine, it was pretty good. I also tried using just regular sugar and the results were pretty tasty. A great buy that should get some infrequent use for a few years.

Hard candy is awesome, all sorts of flavor pissibilities. The product was easeasy to clean just wish the family could use the dishwasher to clean product. So far we have used it 20 times and the speed is generally fast. The kids love it! I would recommed this product.

My daughters and I have had a lot of fun with this machine. I do wish it made a larger amount at one time but we made it work just fine. It's easy to use so even my littler kids could make their own (with supervision of course) which they really enjoy.

My children love it when I pull the cotton candy machine out. I must admit that the floss sugar works better than the hard candy although the hard candy gives you more flavor options.

I was pleasantly surprised. First cotton candy we made was with hard candy. I had no idea you could do that, and it also works with sugar free hard candy. But, the real reason I purchased it was for my daughter's birthday party. It was set up like a mini concession stand along with a snow cone machine and popcorn maker. Overall, it went well. Two things to keep in mind... It takes time to make them, about 3-5 min per cone, which can be tough when you have a dozen kids on-line and you have to clean it out on a regular basis which is not hard. The other thing it that this kit comes with practically nothing except two plastic, reusable cones and a stick. If you plan to use it with more than two people, I recommend buying some paper cones and some floss sugar flavors, unless you plan on just using hard candy.

Does what was promised...like the fact that I can use sugar free hard candies and not have the kids bouncing off the walls. Takes a little practice but after a couple of times you're a pro @ it, even the kids can work it.

This is a great product. It's easy to use, and produces pretty great cotton candy!
