Needs a little more data with the plan. I ran out of data in two weeks, but the jetpack works very well. Never drops the internet connection.

Works great! Only bad thing is the info doesn't stay lit. So it's hard to tell if its on or not without having to push the button. That's the only reason I give it 4 stars.

This. Is such a cool little wifi box. Portable if your on the go. Or great to just have at home for online use. It uses data so if you streaming movies a lot you might want a high data plan. But Verizon is great and the WiFi works really good. Worth the price if your adding it to the plan... FREE!

The MiFi jet pack doesn't work well it keeps changing. It flips screens automatically and just keeps running through them without stopping.

My original Samsung had the Verizon chip and was a great help when traveling. Now I have two pieces of technology to haul around and take care of - like charging. However, so far the portable wifi is wonderful and my family member s love to 'share'.

Bought this, then realized that my phone can also work as a hotspot. It does drain the phone battery more rapidly, but I would use the hotspot feature when traveling, and most likely in a room where I can plug in my phone . . . so no big deal. I am guessing the unit works fine, but I returned it, and now have to deal with getting a refund of the charges from Verizon Wireless. If you need it, get it; if you really do not, it's a waste.

I signed up with Verizon because their marketing says that they have the best coverage. During the 14 day cancellation period I called to complain about the bad service and the technician that I talked with said that they would have to move a tower for me. I did not see that happening on my account so when I told them that I was cancelling service, they sent me a $500.00 bill which I am still trying to straighten out 3 weeks later.

I would recommend it for the simple fact stated above. If you need internet anywhere it's fine. But it is a pain when it shuts off and you need to get back into the internet quickly and you have to go back through the process of turning the hot spot on.

This is a wonderful device when you're constantly on the move.

I love to go to a park and use my iPad, but it can't connect directly to my cell data. This was a great way to connect my electronics and the connection is steady.

This was the perfect solution for internet connection while traveling and or camping. Able to connect with friends, do banking, see weather maps, have Google Maps.

We had to get a new hotspot due to our prior one no longer charging. Our old hot spot worked great, this one is pitiful. We live quite a ways out, but had great signal before. Now we are luck to get one bar. Called Verizon and told we were past our 14 days, nothing they could do but we could try to reset. Will be looking for new service.

I love this thing. Able to connect where I want and when I want to. Sorry I did not invest way before now.

I got this because our local network provider wasn't staying up on weekends and over cyber week. It solves my frustration with them.

Works much better than my old air card; works the first time every time which is a great relief

I got three bars with this at our house next to a window. Friends of ours have a different brand with another major wireless carrier that has a greater range and provides more information. I returned this item to Best Buy.

Probably works better if your in a good reception area. But you know Verizon.
