Only reason that I did not give a 5 star was cause I saw the first one and just thought that the first one was better. Now if that makes any sense I would recommend this movie to you

I was a fan of the NYSM and with this second installment the tricks get larger, the plots get more twists, and as soon as you think you know what's happen you find out you are WRONG. Keeping this one in my collection and the 4K makes the movie that much better.

I'd give it a 3.5. Solid fun but seemed to lack the spark that made the original one so much fun. Fans of the first should still check it out, but if you didn't like the first then this one change your feelings on the series.

If people enjoyed the first movie you will enjoy this one too. There was a lot of twist and turns that led to a surprise ending that most people would not see that coming. It was enjoyed by everyone in my house including my kids who range in age from 7-14.

I thought it had great storyline but it felt like it was missing something. I wasn't expecting what happened in the beginning to occur. Plus, the young woman from the first one wasn't in this one. Overall, it is worth seeing.

I compare this to Ocean's 11 because it has plenty of stars and each have their own special skill to pull off the trick. The first film and this sequel are very suspenseful and entertaining. Like many sequels, it's not as good as original but worth a watch.

Saw this movie when it came out in the picture show and knew then I wanted it for my personal collection. Morgan Freeman has a surprise for the horseman toward the end. Another good part is the additional videos on how some of the tricks were accomplished.

I really liked all the magic trucks and how the story continued into the 2nd movie god watch

Not as great as the first movie, but still entertaining. It was interesting seeing Harry Potter is a more devious role, but overal Daniel Radcliffe does a good job. Bummed that Isla Fischer didn't come back.

Most of the cast returned from the Now You See Me. While not as great as the first one, it was still a pretty entertaining movie. Bonus features are worthwhile. The case art on the steelbook itself is fairly average.

I thought the first "Now You See Me" was pretty enjoyable, for being a mainstream Hollywood "popcorn flick." My expectations for the sequel were not nearly as high after seeing the trailer (and missing it during its initial theatrical run--my first viewing was after purchasing the BluRay)...and that's a good thing, because the sequel falls well-flat of the original. Most of the original cast is back (minus Isla Fisher as Henley and a few of the cop characters from the first film), and replacement Horseman Lula (played by Lizzy Caplan) holds her own, but she fails to fill the void left by Henley's departure. As is usually the case, the sequel tries (too) hard to be bigger, badder and more spectacular than the original. It really does try too hard to "be its own man" and free itself from the shadow of the previous installment. There are new villains, familiar faces, the presence of "The Eye" (that never pays off), and tricks that are just getting to be too epic to be remotely possible outside the world of CG effects (or actual magic, which we all know doesn't really exist). While the story is decent, it's a bit more convuluted than the original, with some glaring plot holes that really shuts down the "suspension of disbelief" that movie watchers are supposed to experience. The finale of one of the main plot/character arcs involving Morgan Freeman and Mark Ruffalo is almost absurd to the point of being comical. It's not terrible...it just suffers from "sequelitis." Like all modern BluRay releases, the quality of the picture is lovely and the audio (and surround sound options) are more than adequate. There were a decent amount of special features included, but I haven't had the time to explore them adequately up to this point. Bottom line, if you're a die-hard fan of the original, then there's a very good chance that you'll enjoy this film and won't regret purchasing it. If you're merely curious about seeing it, I recommend saving some money and renting this one. Two stars.

This movie was good, not as good as the first one. It did not feel as exciting as the first one and seemed a little unfocused. Not sure if that is what they were going for but definitely worth it to check it out.

As with any sequel, if you saw the first you have to see the second. The change in the female lead was a concern for me. The replacement usually doesn't do as well as the first. But not in this case. The magic is great as are the special effects

I really enjoyed this movie. I didn't like the female character switch too much but I thought she was a decent replacement. The plot twist was done very well and even Daniel Radcliffe did pretty good post-Potter.

For the second of this series they put a little bit of thinking . I did not think they have what it took to make a movie that kept my interest but I enjoyed it. I hope more series start putting their mind to it

Fun movie to watch. This 4K copy has really good picture and audio. Purchased on Black Friday for $7!!

I believe we have not seen the best of the this series of movies. This movie helped explain what occurred in the first movie. It also lead the viewer to possible the next movie. I would recommend the movie.

this sequel was good, same themes and characters as the first, but for some reason i liked the first one more. this one is still good, but like for most movies with sequels, the original is usually the best.

Really great movie and amazing in 4K Ultra. I also love that you get a digital copy with your purchase.

I have the first movie and obviously wanted to get this one, #2, to keep my movie collection complete. The movie was well filmed, interesting with riveting action. I believe most viewers will enjoy this film.
