I’m for one who loves movies like this, so much stuffs filled with illusion and magic. It feels like bedazzle and smacky. It’s truly entertaining if you like magic.

A group of standout magicians are brought together, to perform a series of magical acts in an effort to earn the right to experience elite status in the in the magic world. How they do the tricks is only part of the mystery, their motive is the bigger story in a high action thriller that never slows down from start to finish.

We saw this at the theater n had to see the sequel so we bought the original to watch. Not that we almost always watch it on TV when it's aired. Of course we tend to catch it at various scenes n not straight from the beginning. But now it's part of our collection n really still only love the original.

Wife and I really enjoyed this movie. Had no idea it would end this way. Actors were all perfect in their roles. Great twists and turns and a great surprise ending as I mentioned. Part 2 just came out and it's great also. Part 3 will be even better I think and that's hard to do.

I hadn't never seen this movie and finally watched a trailer when I saw a second one was being released. If your into magic or just a film that leaves you with your jaw down, this is the one. The stunts/tricks they pull in the film are beyond amazing. Great movie and part 2 was pretty good too.

An entertaining film with good performances by the cast and an excellent audio/visual presentation. I had a great time watching this movie, but once it was over and I had time to think about it more it started to make less sense. The ending was also kind of weird. Even so I would recommend this movie.

I bought this movie after seeing a trailer and figured the movie was going to be okay. I've got to say that after watching this movie I was blown away. This movie is amazing. It has a great plot and its full of suspense. It was definitely a great buy. I would recommend this movie to anyone who is into action/suspense.

Movie was good but I wasn't too impressed with the 4K quality. I do have a 4K bluray player and a 4K TV as well as the recommended 4K quality HDMI cable but I still wasn't impressed. I played a regular bluray disc on this system and the upscaling on it had better picture quality than the actual 4K movie. The movie, however was great!

The magic acts did not make the movie, although I think it added a bit of fun and entertaining value. Its the fight against good and evil that draws you in. It pits greed against pride. Yet non is the ultimate winner. I enjoyed the character interactions too. Good bunch of young actors, and Woody...

I love movies about magic. This one is my favorite! Comedy, action, and yes, theatrical magic. Not to be confused with “Merlin” magic. There is a bit of language so I don’t recommend it for children under 10. So parents beware, you may want to watch it first without the kids so you can desire if they are old enough.

For the price I paid it was fine but this film left a lot to be desired.

although it's a magic movie, it's much more than that. each character in it was cool. each with their own specialties or trademark magic skills. I thought the concept of the movie was pretty original also. I've watched it a few times and the extended version is a must.

All there is to know about this movie is that it will keep you guessing until the end. Very captivating movie that keeps you on the edge of your seat wondering what's next. I definitely recommend this movie to any that are slightly interested.

The title didn’t really say anything that made me want to see it. After watching preview of sequel, I decided to watch this first one. It was a most unexpected welcoming surprise that it was a really great movie about magic acts. The title gave me no clue. Loved it!

Not a movie I would buy unless I got it cheap along with a digital hd code. I got what I wanted so I got it. Good, entertaining movie with a very good cast. Some cool slight of hand but story is basic & can be figured out early if you're paying attention and have just a little bit of cleverness. Overall, very good purchase.

It's a fantastic movie so well done. The illusions are incredible. It's one of the best movie I ever seen, I even bought it as a birthday gift for my brother to send it to Puerto Rico and I told him you going to be amaze it's better to see a show of David Copperfirld which he saw in Las Vegas

Surprisingly creative and actually kept me interested through the end. Nice twists and well thought out. Not to mention Mark Ruffalo...that guy will never go hungry. We watched it as a family with our younger teenagers and were not disappointed.

I actually saw NYSM2 on a flight to the West Coast and loved it so much, I wanted to see what the first one was like. I was not disappointed. Sure the illusions are a little over-the-top from a reality perspective, but the acting isd good and action kept me entertained.

We had already seen this one before but seen it on sale on Black Friday. Great family movie to watch with the family and my daughter hadn't seen it so gave us something to do together as a family. The magic tricks are very well put together and the ending is awesome.

The DVD cover shows 3 unknown (to me) young actors engaged in a Magic Show kind of performance. It didn't dazzle me, but upon further examination, I saw that Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine also are in it: it turned out to have a good plot twist and an interesting denouement. Turned out to be a pretty good movie!
