    I have used it to make smoothies and it did an outstanding job. I also used it to grind up coffee beans and it ground them up too fine. But, I was still able to make coffee.

    Purchased for make smoothies and baby food....smoothies are great, but you have to make a ton of baby food at once in order for it to be properly blended.
