||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this item with the intentions of making fruit & yogurt smoothies for my elderly mother who frequently does not express much interest in food. It blends frozen and fresh fruit with Chia seeds and yogurt into a thick milkshake textured concoction that she readily consumes. I find that I can also blend in medications and nuts/raisins/cranberries and whatever else imagination provides into something she enjoys drinking and provides nutrition. Her home visit hospice nurses also provide additional ideas and said they would suggest this to other caregivers for their patients.

It blends really nicely although there are seeds from fruits like strawberries it doesn't bother me. I gave it four stars because the one I got does not suction to the counter like it said it would.
